Based on assumed WS elevation, determine the corresponding total conveyance and velocity head 3. Compute S f avg. and solve for h e with values from step Solve 1D Energy equation at downstream with values from steps 2 and 3 5. Compare WS elevations of step 1 and step 4. Iterate until values agree to within 0.1 feet (0.003m) or to user-defined tolerance
