2 Accurately measure and locate in 3D elements on complex and/or bulky parts with a cycle time of a few milliseconds: this is what our new Flexeyes 3D sensor can do. Its use is particularly advantageous for the design of flexible automated cells. Nowadays, part localization in automated cells increasingly requires the implementation of flexible and robust software and hardware solutions, able to adapt quickly to a wide range of different parts. Visio Nerf has developed in combination with its other products a new sensor able to accurately assess the position of 3D elements in order to perform metrology (dimensional measurement, defects of shape or position) and/or localization. Thanks to its patented technology, the sensor Flexeyes 3D is able to work on complex shapes bearing a wide range of deformities. The combination of LED lighting with one or more integrated laser sources provides this sensor with flexibility, versatility and high accuracy. Product description Flexeyes 3D is a high accuracy (max 0.01 mm) stereoscopic sensor able to observe objects in a 120x90x50 mm volume. Using its integrated light sources, it is unimpeded by ambient light. Its factory calibration provides quick implementation and easy maintenance. The data provided by Flexeyes 3D can be easily handled by our vision controller Visioscope 4 with or without Eyesberg technology. Indeed the combination of Flexeyes 3D with the CAD model, present in the new Eyesberg interface, pushes the limits of the robot/vision processes.

3 Three image processing techniques to suit all your needs Search for virtual edges by deformation of laser lines. Example of practical application: robot guidance for automatic installation of windscreen. Localization of complex curved surfaces through multiplepoint analysis (about 350 points per image capture). E.g. application: global and local repositioning for machining by comparing with CAD files. Measurements (diameter; ovalization ; position ; orientation ) of elements contrasted by LED lighting. E.g. application: quality control after drilling.
