2 Meet the Agfa Phoenix family No matter what your application, there s a Phoenix system that provides the format and capabilities you need. Phoenix is available in three models Phoenix 2000, Phoenix 2250, and Phoenix News. Phoenix 2000 and Phoenix 2250 The Phoenix 2000 s 20 x27"/50,8 x 68,6 cm format is appropriate for small 4-up applications, while the Phoenix 2250 s 22.5x29.375"/ 57,2 x 74,6 cm format is right for the standard 50 x 70 cm format and mid-sized 4-up sheetfed presses. Both models share the same features that make Phoenix the right choice: Online Media Profiles let you change media lengths and punch configurations at a touch of a button. Think of it as realtime punch configuration. A patented rotating buffer lets Phoenix load, expose, and process jobs in parallel, contributing to faster throughput. The result? Prepress multitasking that enables more jobs per shift. A lightweight imaging assembly enables high rotational speeds of 68,000 rpm resulting in extremely fast imaging speeds. Phoenix s small-diameter drum speeds imaging by eliminating the need for a vacuum holddown system, which requires time to turn on and off. Plus, Phoenix News 19" width and 18.7 x 27"/47,5 x 68,6 cm image area covers all 18.1" broadsheet applications, as well as other commercial applications. The result?
