In the ight received condition, turn the sensitivity adjuster sowy cockwise and confirm the point A where the sensor enters the ight state operation. In the dark condition, turn the sensitivity adjuster further cockwise unti the sensor enters the ight state operation and then bring it back to confirm point B where the sensor just returns to the Dark state operation. If the sensor does not enter the ight state operation even when the sensitivity adjuster is turned fuy cockwise, this extreme position is point B. The position at the midde of points A and B is the optimum sensing position. Notes: ) Use the attached adjusting screwdriver to turn the adjuster sowy. Turning with excessive strength wi damage the adjuster. ) In case of using EX- at a sensing distance of mm.969 in or ess, take care that the sensitivity adjustment range becomes extremey narrow. Operation mode switch (EX- ony) Switch position D D Never use this product as a sensing device for personne protection. In case of using sensing devices for personne protection, use products which meet aws and standards, such as OSHA, ANSI or IEC etc., for personne protection appicabe in each region or country. Description ight-on mode is obtained when the operation mode switch (ocated on the receiver) is turned fuy cockwise ( side). Dark-ON mode is obtained when the operation mode switch (ocated on the receiver) is turned fuy countercockwise (D side). Note: Operation mode switch shoud be turned fuy ti it stops. Stabiity indicator Refer to p.~ for genera precautions. The stabiity indicator (green) ights up when the incident ight intensity has sufficient margin with respect to the operation eve. If the incident ight intensity eve is such that the stabiity indicator ights up, stabe sensing can be done without the ight received operation and the ight interrupted operation being affected by a change in ambient temperature or suppy votage.
