The department Mobile Networks of the steep GmbH is specialized in the integration of high-class information- and communication-technology as well as in mobile and highly mobile products. We contribute our longstanding experience to every new product and develop the technical solution in close collaboration with our customers in order to take care of every customer-specific requirement. steep is exclusive sales partner of the products of RolaTube Expeditionary Systems in the German-speaking area (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The tactical mast- and tripod systems are highly mobile, allow for a quick and easy set-up and are characterized by reduced weight and good transportability and storage properties. Furthermore, the products are versatile and can be used as required. RolaTube Technology The tactical mast- and tripod systems by RolaTube Expeditionary Systems (REX) were developed in cooperation with the Universities of Cambridge and Surrey. The patented systems consist of a two-layered thermoplastic composite material. The products and systems by RolaTube are suitable for a temperature range between -35 and +85 C and work with the unique and innovative Bi Stable Reeled Composite Technology. In 2014, the steep GmbH successfully integrated the RolaTube tripod systems into the project Deployable Network as a platform carrier for a GPS antenna. 4 Single Mast Systems Single mast systems are ideal for fast, mobile and versatile use. In combination with the respective accessories, they offer possibilities for the installation of antenna systems and sensors of up to 5 kg. 5 Double Mast Systems Double mast systems work with a combination of two single masts, which are pushed together and connected. This results in a significant increase in torsion, strength and weight loadability. These characteristics of the double mast systems are ideal for the use of antenna systems and sensors weighing 5 kg and more. Tripod Systems The tripod system is a combination of 3 x 2 masts with 1 or 2 m length. With the included tripod head mount with leg locks, three single masts can be combined to one tripod.

7 Combination Systems The tripod-mast combination connects a 2 m, 2 tripod by means of a single- or double mast adaptor and a 3 single- or double mast system. The combination of tripod and mast provides a high level of stability and robustness. 8 RAMM Mast Systems The rapid action mission mast (RAMM) by Selex ES and RolaTube was developed especially for mobile tactical communication. The RAMM mast is an integrated antenna system and is available in various varieties.
