8 Consumables - Pellets (Projectiles) MPP: Multi Purpose Pellets (Projectiles) Made of medium firm, flexible polyurethane (foam). Used for assemblies, hoses with fittings, to eliminate any size particles of contamination and where greater flexibility is required. Sizes range from 4mm to 170mm. When using a Multi Purpose pellet (MPP), choose one that is approx. 20% larger than the ID of HTP. NAP: Abrasive Pellets (Projectiles) Special Purpose Made of firm, flexible polyurethane (foam) with a non-woven abrasive tip. Abrasive Pellets (Projectiles) are used for cleaning boiler tubes, condenser tubes etc. These projectiles will negotiate right angle bends, coils and T-fittings. Ideal for tube and pipe cleaning where there is a build up of contamination, surface rust or mild scale. Used for mild to medium contamination. Sizes range from 6mm to 170mm. When using an Abrasive pellet (NAP), choose one that is approx 20% larger than the ID of HTP. GP: Grinding Pellets (Projectiles) Special Purpose Made of firm, flexible polyurethane (foam) with carborundum paper sides. Grinding Pellets (Projectiles) are used for heavy duty tube and pipe cleaning where there is a significant build up of contamination, surface rust or mild scale such as calcified water deposit, rust, baked on deposits.
