2 1 Introduction These instructions describe how to test, order, adjust or cancel Storebox in the versions X-Small, Small, X-Small incl. PC backup and Small incl. PC backup online. To be able to use Storebox, you must have at least one basic package. The available basic packages include a differing number of user licenses and storage as a basis. Each basic package includes a team portal with a dedicated URL that can be managed by one or more Storebox administrators in your company. Basic packages in the sizes XS and S can be ordered directly via the Swisscom Business Marketplace. These basic packages are limited with regard to the number of additional user licenses and additional storage. Furthermore, they do not offer any NAS gateway licenses and only limited support services. The Swisscom Business Marketplace can be reached at For utilisation in larger environments (e.g. more users and/or more storage space) we recommend an M or XL basic package. The additional packages are unlimited, and extended support is available. Details can be found at To take advantage of these offers, you need a contract with Swisscom that outlines the services you may use. To sign up for one of these contracts, simply fill out the contact form on our homepage under the "Become a Customer" tab. 3 2 Swisscom Business Marketplace In order to be able to order basic packages in the sizes XS and S together with the corresponding additional packages, you will need a Swisscom login and a user account for the Swisscom Business Marketplace. Instructions for configuring access can be obtained via the following link: The Swisscom Business Marketplace enables you to view your Storebox inventory at any time, make adjustments (additional packages) or order further basic packages. The details in you account directly correspond to the services listed on your bill at the end of the 30-day sales period. The Swisscom Business Marketplace allows you to make adjustments at any time without altering your contract, view the details of your bill and separate ordering processes completely from the Storebox rights of the users in your company. As soon as you have created the Swisscom Login, you can access the Swisscom Marketplace via Please log in using your account: Within the Swisscom Business Marketplace you can now see the following hierarchy: > Home Takes you back the startpage. > My Business Apps You will find all of the apps that you have tested and purchased here > My Business Marketplace Here you will find all applications that can be tested or purchased You can also test or order new Storebox XS and S basic packages here > My Account Here you will find a history of your activity in the Swisscom Business Marketplace You can invite users, assign business apps, view a history of your bills and configure settings for your company. 4 3 Initialising the free test In order to be able to order a new basic package with or without additional packages, click Test for free next to the application Storebox within the Swisscom Business Marketplace. Select the basic package you would like to order under Editions and prices and then click "30-day test version": You will now be guided through the ordering or test process step by step. 3.1 Step 1 (Allocation) During the first step (submit order), you define the number of additional users, any additional gigabytes of storage and the number of server licenses. This means you can expand the basic package in line with your own individual needs. If you have a promotional code, enter this in the corresponding Promotional code field and then click Use. 5 Now click "Continue". 3.2 Step 2 (Product settings) Choose an individual name for your Storebox account. This could be your company name or any other term. Numbers and/or letters are not permitted. You can select part of the URL of your team portal. The rest of the URL is pre-set: "storebox.swisscom.com". You request your own personal hostname then, which is placed at the front of the URL (letters and numbers as well as the characters - and _ are allowed). This address can be used later on to access your personal Storebox. If your chosen name has already been assigned elsewhere, an appropriate message will be displayed. Now click "Continue". 3.3 Step 3 (Confirm order) During the third step (Confirm order) an overview of the configured Storebox is displayed. You can click Back at any time to make changes, if required. Accept the terms and conditions of use by ticking the corresponding box if you accept the order as it is. 6 3.4 Step 4 (Switch to the business apps) Now click Go to the business apps. You will then be taken to the overview page of all business apps that you have tested or purchased. You will see a list of prices, which you will be charged after expiry of the 30-day test period. You should have received a confirmation message from Storebox in your account. This contains all access information, including the username and password for your Storebox account. 7 Please log in to your Storebox account via My business apps by entering your username and password in the respective fields. 3.5 Expand or reduce an existing Storebox To expand or reduce an existing Storebox team portal (i.e. basic package), please select My business apps. Move the mouse pointer over the Storebox symbol. A small cogwheel will appear in the upper right-hand corner of the symbol. Move the mouse pointer over the cogwheel. A dark grey menu will appear. 8 A new window appears with the following options: 1. Overview This is the history of all activity related to your account in the Swisscom Business Marketplace. 2. Business applications Here you will find all active apps and a sub-menu: > Overview Storebox support information is listed here > Users All assigned persons are listed here > Change edition Here you can change the edition or purchase various additional services such as additional persons, gigabytes or servers > Billing history Here you can view the Storebox history with all bills and payments 3. Assign business apps Here you can invite persons to join a Storebox or assign applications to different people. Swisscom (Switzerland) Ltd 09/ / 14
9 4. Billing Here you will find all bills as well as all payments that you have made. You can simply and quickly add additional users, order additional storage and/or add additional server licenses under Change edition. Click Next. Your edition of Storebox will be adjusted accordingly: Swisscom (Switzerland) Ltd 09/ / 14
10 4 Order Storebox After the 30-day test phase you will receive an notification notifying you that the test phase will end soon. If you wish to continue using Storebox, you will need to add the required payment information. IMPORTANT: If you decide not to continue using Storebox, ensure you back up all of the data in Storebox to a local device. You should also restore your previous backups or download them. Following expiry of the test phase, all data in Storebox will be deleted automatically and irrevocably and the account will be removed! Log in to the Swisscom Business Marketplace and go to My business apps. Move the mouse pointer over the application Storebox. A grey box will now appear. Click Manage business app and then click Order now in the new window. 1. Place order If you wish to change the edition (basic package) or the additional services, do this in the window and then click Continue. Swisscom (Switzerland) Ltd 09/ / 14
11 2. Product settings Enter the individual name for your Storebox account again and then click Continue. Swisscom (Switzerland) Ltd 09/ / 14
12 3. Billing details Select your billing method. Two different options are available: > Billing via credit card or PostFinance card Enter your credit card information now. > Billing via Swisscom bill If you select billing via Swisscom bill, you will need a Swisscom telephone or mobile number. Enter the phone number with the associated registered address and complete all fields appropriately. Click Continue. 4. Order confirmation You will now see an overview of your order. If you are satisfied, please click confirm to conclude the order process. 5. Conclude order After completing the order you will be taken to My business apps where you will now be able to access Storebox. You will also receive an notification stating that the payment was carried out successfully. Swisscom (Switzerland) Ltd 09/ / 14
13 5 Cancelling Storebox You can cancel Storebox easily yourself. As explained in section 4, you access your applications via My business apps. Move the mouse pointer over the Storebox symbol and then over the grey cogwheel that appears. Click Manage business apps in the menu. You will now see 2 buttons on the right-hand side. Click Cancel subscription. A small window will appear with the question Do you really want to cancel this subscription?. Click Yes. IMPORTANT: If you terminate your contract, all basic packages you have as well as all the data they contain will be deleted. Swisscom (Switzerland) Ltd 09/ / 14
