3 Care360 for Mobile Devices What mobile devices can run Care360? Apple Devices Care360 Mobile: Apple iphone, ipod Touch, ipad, and ipad Mini that can support ios 9.0 or later. Care360 HD: Apple ipad and ipad Mini devices that can support ios 9.0 or later. Android Devices Care360 Mobile for Android: Requires an Android device capable of running Android version and up. How do I upgrade one of the supported devices to ios 9.x? The release of Care360 HD and Care360 Mobile requires that your device be running, at minimum, ios 9. If your device is currently running ios 8, you must upgrade your ios if you want to continue using Care360 HD or Care360 Mobile. Connect your device to itunes and itunes should prompt you to upgrade. For more information, visit Apple.com. How do I enter ICD-10 codes in the mobile applications for iphone and ipad? Refer to the What s New document in the Help tab in the mobile applications for iphone and ipad. Patient Demographics Languages. The Preferred Language and Additional Language lists now include new languages. The language database now meets 2015 ONC Certification standards. Sex. In addition to Male, Female, and Undifferentiated, you can now identify a patient as Unknown. Lab Result Status Lab results that were previously identified as Critically Out of Range will now be referred to as Priority Out of Range. Pharmacy Search Pharmacy search (which is available when managing a patient s pharmacies or when writing a prescription) now has additional search criteria when searching by pharmacy name. You can tap Exact, Starts With, Contains (default), or Sounds Like to indicate whether the phar macy name is an exact match to the characters entered or whether the pharmacy starts with, contains, or sounds like the characters entered. eprescribing Schedule II-V (CII-V) Medications. Specifying directions is now required when prescribing CII-V medications. Directions can be entered using the Dosage Amount and Frequency or Manual Sig Entry. Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. Do not reproduce without written consent. Page 3
4 Schedule II (CII) Medications. Specifying a Duration is now required when prescribing CII medications and the value entered cannot be greater than 90 days. Chapter 1: Getting Started 3 Schedule III-IV (CIII-IV) Medications. The maximum number of Refills that can be specified for CIII-IV medications is now five. Prescriptions for drugs requiring NADEAN (Narcotics Addiction DEA Number), such as buprenorphine, can no longer be sent electronically. These prescriptions must be printed and signed. Prescriptions for GHB (gammahydroxybutyric acid), such as Xyrem, can no longer be sent to pharmacy without adding a reason (medical need) in the Notes to Pharmacist box. Updates that are only available in Care360 HD: Patient Photo The patient demographic bar on a patient's Summary page can now display a thumbnail size picture of the patient. Tapping on the thumbnail view allows you to view the full size patient picture, or take a new one. Comments You can now add comments to a patient summary. Previously, you could only review comments which were added to a patient summary via the web application. Patient History The Add Medical History, Add Surgical History, Add Family History, and Add Social History links located on the bottom of a history section have been moved to the top of the page and the action option name has changed. You will now be able to tap Medical History (Add), Surgical History (Add), Family History (Add), and Social History (Add) when you need to add a new line item to a history. Notes in Progress When viewing a Note in Progress from the Care360 Home screen inbox, the Print ( ) icon, Patient Summary ( ) icon, and the Finalize and Sign link now have additional space between them; thus, making it easier to tap the correct action. Chapter 1: Getting Started 4 Encounter Notes Lab Results. You can now add a patient's lab results to an encounter note. Note: You can only add lab results that are available in and have been performed in the past six months. Patient Health Concerns. In instances where a patient has health concerns that you want to document separately from the patient's problems, you can now document those concerns in the Patient Health Concerns box located in the Plan of Care section of the encounter note. CC & HPI. To improve usability and readability of HPI-related information, the size of the Comments box increases, as needed, to show more information. Interventions. To improve usability and readability of Intervention-related information in Plan of Care, the size of the Interventions box has been increased to show more information. 5 Billing Details. After a patient has received care at your organization and an encounter note for the patient visit has been started, you can record billing details for the patient visit. This information includes any billable diagnoses made or procedures performed during the encounter. Billing details can be delivered electronically to a PMS associated with your organization, or printed for manual distribution. Vitals. Temperature can now be recorded in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Inhaled Oxygen %. You can now have the option of recording a patient's inhaled oxygen concentration. Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. Do not reproduce without written consent. Page 5
