4 Customer Owned Equipment/Bring Your Own Device Customer Owned Equipment (COE/BYOD) Once credit check is completed, select Customer Owned when selecting equipment Enter the phone s IMEI Have the customer dial *#06# on their device and the IMEI should display IMEI can be found in settings on both iphone and Android devices Iphone: Settings > General > About > IEMI (found about halfway down) Android: Settings > About Device> Status If valid, the phone s sim type will populate below. To use a customers existing equipment, the phone must be unlocked Most carriers lock their devices, if the customer is in a contract or is paying an installment plan, their device is likely locked to that carrier. The customer must request the device s unlock code from their current provider. ***Note: If a customer plans to do COE/BYOD they will not qualify for the $650 switcher offer since the phone must be traded in for the promotion. 4

5 GREAT NEWS! Ports $445 Tiered Deposit Waiver 1 What s happening? Porting Number $445 Tiered Deposit Waiver Consideration: Our products are attracting customers. Some of our customers are running into the $445 deposit restriction when porting in lines. Deposits and line limit requirements leverage a new customer s risk class, credit score, churn probability, fraud, and market trends. We have been given the ability to waive these deposits for our porting customers. *This applies only to customers that are porting in lines. All smartphone lines must be port in. 2 What is required? Direct Sales/DIRECTV Requirements: Customer must be porting an ACTIVE number Only $445 deposits qualify We can waive for Smartphones or adding tablets 3 What do we need from you? BAN Number Reference Number Where the customer is porting from Discover more and build rapport with your customer while waiting for the waiver (3-5 Minutes) Contact your SPM/Rodrigo or Roger with information to process the waiver AT&T Proprietary (Internal Use Only) Not for use or disclosure outside the AT&T companies except under written agreement.

7 Walk Your Customers Through the T&C s Accessing the T&Cs from TORCH text 1. Customer will enter the CTN in the first box 2. The customer s zip code goes in the second box 3. Click the Continue button Wireless Customer Agreement 4. The Accept Terms & Conditions page appears 5. Click on hyperlink Wireless Customer Agreement 6. Advise customer to read the Wireless Customer Agreement Completing the T&Cs 7. When finished, the customer can click the Done button 8. This will return them to the Accept Terms & Conditions Page 9. Check the I have read and agree box 10. The customer can now click Accept and Ship button
