When in front of a customer or answering a call away from your laptop: Use the app to look up an order using customer name, your PO #, or HPE Order # Provide the customer with an immediate status update Easier to manage hot orders: I can keep track of orders when I m out of the office. Stay on top of hot orders when you re out of the office: Receive Alerts for any status changes Take a quick peek at your Watch List to view all the latest details Streamline communication: I can be more proactive in sharing updates with customers & colleagues. 5 Answering your User s frequently asked questions? 1. Where does the order status data come from to feed HPE Go? The Order Status data comes from the OSS Tool normally accessed via the HPE Partner Ready Portal. The OSS system and HPE Go will remain in-sync for order status. 2. Is there a time difference between order updates in HPE Go and updates in OSS? HPE Go and OSS are kept in-sync. There may be a small difference in timing of updates but this is typically no more than a few minutes. 3. How much of my phone s data usage can I expect from the HPE Go app? The HPE Go app is designed for low data usage; it s equivalent to receiving your work s on your phone. If you use HPE Go when connected to a secure Wi-Fi connection, you will not need to use your personal data at all. 4. Will the app impact my phone s battery life? No, there s no negative impact. 5. 7 Downloading HPE Go Watch List Locate HPE Go in your app store: For Android phones, visit Google Play > Apps. For Apple iphones, visit the Apple App Store. Log in to HPE Go using your individual HPE Partner Ready Portal username and password. Important download and access tips Users must have HPE OSS access to use the HPE Go app. Remind users to log in to HPE Go with an individual HPE Partner Ready Portal username and password (a shared company will not work for the app). The app is compatible with Android phones version 4.1 onward and Apple iphones ios 9 onward. The HPE Go app will notify user when updates are available (as with any other app on your phone). Click the flag again to remove the order from the Watch List. Check on all recent Alerts for orders on your Watch List Click on the order to view the Order Details Customer 1 Inc. 10 How to search for orders using HPE Go You can search for orders by: Your PO number (must be exact) HPE Order number (must be exact) Customer name (may be partial e.g., Micro might return a number of different customers/orders). Searches are not case sensitive. In all cases, you can further filter [ ] and sort [ ] your search results. Searching from the Home-screen Advanced Search allows you to search by: Order Status Company Name Other date ranges you re looking for Note: Order details remain in HPE Go up to 90 days after delivery. For older orders, use the OSS tool via the Portal. Search Results & searching from the bottom menu John Customer 1 Customer 1 Search bar You can filter or sort your orders if there are multiple results Type in your search here e.g., using customer name CUSTOMER 1 99XXX9XX Z Add this order to your Watch List by clicking the flag to green Click on the order to view the Order Details *While you are not required to search by HPE Order number, orders will not appear in the search results until they have an HPE Order number assigned. 11 Viewing Order Details Order status data comes from the OSS Tool available via the HPE Partner Ready Portal. OSS and HPE Go databases will remain in-sync for order status. Orders are available to view in HPE Go up to 90 days after delivery date. For older orders, please use OSS. CUSTOMER XXX9XX This order is flagged for the Watch List, consequently the latest Alert is showing at the top of the screen; Alerts are automatically generated for Watched Orders You can these order details to share with colleagues or customers Details show the previous ship complete and delivery dates where a change has occurred John Blogs Customer 1, 999 Hollister Rd Palo Alto, CA United States Instant visual view of order status Where an Invoice is available to view in OSS, a purple bar with the Invoice notification will be displayed below the Order Summary; invoices are not available via HPE Go at this time Click the arrows to show more details or less details of individual line items for both shipped and not yet shipped status 8/1/2017 HPE Restricted: for HPE Internal and Authorized Partners Only 11

12 Adding orders to the Watch List With HPE Go, users can add the orders to the Watch List to monitor them more closely. There is no limit to the number of orders users can add to the Watch List Adding orders to the Watch List: Click the flag to green next to the order in search results Or click on the flag to green from within the order details screen Removing orders from the Watch List: Orders automatically disappear from the Watch List after 5-days post-delivery To manually remove the order, click the flag to white When adding Orders to the Watched Orders list, users are invited to set Alerts for that Order Users can change the Alerts you receive for Watched Orders using the Preferences screen available via the main app menu CUSTOMER CITRIX 1 CUSTOMER 2 Navigate to Preferences in the main app menu to change the desired Alerts to add to the Watch List Click the flag to green to add order to Watch List; click again to remove it View all the orders on the Watch List in a single screen 8/1/2017 HPE Restricted: for HPE Internal and Authorized Partners Only 12

13 Receiving Alerts for hot orders The HPE Go app can provide you with Push Notifications on your phone: Enable during Download Or enable / disable within your phone settings Alerts available include: Any Order Status Change Order Delivery Order Submitted Order Accepted Order in Production The number of Alerts you have received on your Watched Orders is displayed next to the Alerts icon in the bottom menu Click on the Alerts icon to view your Alert history You can change the Alerts you receive for Watched Orders using the Preferences screen available via the main app menu Navigate to Preferences in the main app menu to change the Alerts you want to see for orders on your Watch List HPE Go allows you to provide instant feedback on your experience CUSTOMER 1 View all the Alerts for your watched orders 8/1/2017 HPE Restricted: for HPE Internal and Authorized Partners Only 13

14 HPE Go: help and support available Guides and Tutorials Get Support using the HPE Go app <name> - How-To Quick Reference Guide - FAQs When you first log in to the HPE Go app, users are provided with the option to take a quick Tutorial. Additional resources are available on the HPE Go page of the Partner Ready Portal. Click on the main app menu to view the Get Support tab. Choose Get Support. Select to view answers to Frequently Asked Questions, or Contact Us to submit a support ticket to HPE Partner Support. 15 Glossary of order status terms Ship Complete - this is the planned ship date of the last shipment on the order, or the "longest lead time" ship date. For an order with only a single shipment, this is the shipment date for the entire order. Delivery Complete - this is the planned delivery date for the last shipment on the order, or the "longest leadtime" delivery date. For an order with only a single shipment, this is delivery date for the entire order. Date Shipped - this is the actual ship date for the last shipment on your order. In other words, the date that your order was fully shipped. Date Delivered - this is the actual delivery for the last shipment on your order. In other words, the date that your order was fully delivered. Order Status - this is the longest lead-time status for your order, meaning that for an order with multiple shipments, this is the status for the last shipment in the order. For an order where multiple shipments are not allowed, your entire order is at this stage. HPE Order Number - unique identifier generated by HPE. Your PO Number - unique identifier generated by your company. One PO can have multiple HPE Order Numbers. 8/1/2017 HPE Restricted: for HPE Internal and Authorized Partners Only 15

17 IMPORTANT: to access HPE Go mobile 1. To log in to HPE Go, you must use your own Partner Ready Portal login credentials individual address and personal password. Shared accounts will not work with HPE Go. 2. To view order details, users must have existing OSS access permission granted by their PPA. 18 1 New User Access to OSS User must be eligible for OSS as HPE Go order visibility data is coming from OSS Access the Partner Ready Portal: Profile Preferences Users and Organizations Tool Management 2 Select the: Order Status tool 3 Select appropriate access level View all available users Select the users for access and press save Confirm by viewing current to see the new status* *Access to the OSS Tool may take up to 48-hours to come into effect 8/1/2017 HPE Restricted: for HPE Internal and Authorized Partners Only 18

19 Resetting Passwords for existing Partner Ready Portal Users If users are unable to remember the HPE Partner Portal login Password to log in to the HPE Go app, they can: 1. Go to and click Forgot Password on the login screen to reset it 2. Or as a PPA, you can also reset the user s password via the Partner Ready Portal using the following steps: Go to Profile Preferences > Company users Search for User or use the filter on the left-hand side Click Actions (available to each user) and select Password Reset A new window will open enter the user s address Click Next 8/1/2017 HPE Restricted: for HPE Internal and Authorized Partners Only 19

20 HPE Go: troubleshooting tips I can t log in Ensure Users enter their individual HPE Partner Ready Portal and password to access HPE Go. Users can reset their passwords from the login screen of the Portal at PPA: confirm that the User has access rights to OSS Check to see that there are no outages for OSS or Partner Ready Portal Contact HPE Partner Support via the HPE Go main app menu (bars at the top left of the HPE Go app login screen) I don t see the Search bar on my homepage PPA: confirm that the User has access rights to OSS If so, please contact HPE Partner Support via the main HPE Go app menu (bars at the top left of the HPE Go app login screen) I can t find my order Only orders with HPE Order numbers are available for search check that the order has been accepted in OSS Can you find the order in OSS via the Partner Ready Portal?
