3 Why the change? UC Davis Extension has created a new Business Analysis (BA) Certification Program The new program is required, because: The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA ) has expanded their curriculum requirements with new content, and In order to maintain IIBA certification, the UC Davis Extension Business Analysis Certification Program had to be updated to reflect these changes

4 What s New? 50 percent new content from IIBA has been added to the program Our new BA certificate program is more condensed, reducing the number of required courses from eight to four Program also aligns with a new business analysis certification launched by the Project Management Institute (PMI ) in 2016 Our new BA certificate program aligns with both new IIBA and PMI requirements All courses will now be held online in an interactive webinar format

5 If You Are an Existing BA Student Depending on the courses you have previously completed, course material may be fully or partially transferable to new program courses If you have any questions about these changes to the BA certificate program, or would like to map out your academic path to completing your certificate, please contact one of our Program Assistants
