To Add a person: Press Conference key. Wait for special dial tone. Conference indicator is solid. Extension indicator winks. Dial the next number according to your Dial Plan. Wait for ringing. (You may speak privately.) Press Conference Conference indicator extinguishes. Repeat to add 4 th, 5 th and 6 th person To Cancel: At a busy signal, no answer, or misdial: Press Goodbye key. Press Extension key. You return to your existing conference. CALL Redirect all calls to another destination without your telephone ringing FORWARD ALL CALLS To Program Press Forward key. Forward indicator winks. & Activate: Enter the number you want your calls forwarded to according to your Dial Plan. Press Forward key. Forward indicator is solid. To Deactivate: Press Forward key. Speed Call indicator extinguishes. MESSAGE Respond when Message Waiting is active on your telephone. WAITING To Retrieve: At the flashing Message indicator: Obtain dial tone. Press Message key. Wait for ringing and answer. M3902 OPTIONS Allows you to customize certain characteristics of your phone. Press the OPTIONS key to access the list of 9 features that are adjustable on your telephone. Use the Navigation keys to move up and down the list and highlight the feature you would like to adjust. Press SELECT to choose an option and to display information to adjust your selection. Press DONE to save the changes Press QUIT to exit without saving changes. Change the language of your display. Change the displayed name of your programmable line/feature keys. Increase or decrease the contrast level of your display. Increase or decrease the various volumes of your telephone. - Ringer - Buzzer - Speaker - Handset Listen - Handsfree Listen to and choose one of four ring types or tones for your telephone. Choose to display a timer that measures how long you are on each call Choose the format used to display date and time. Turn on or off the click sound heard as you dial.

Obtain dial tone. Press Auto Dial key. Wait for ringing. DISPLAY To Display Press display An Autodial#: Press an Auto Dial Key CALL LOG 10 Incoming and 5 Outgoing Calls Note: Set will log calls to all line appearances on set. At Options you can set to record All Calls or only Unanswered calls. SPEED Store frequently used telephone numbers CALL To Program: Press Speed Call key. Speed Call indictor flashes. Enter the Speed Call code. ( to ) Enter the number to be stored according to you Dial Plan. Press Speed Call key. Speed Call indicator extinguishes. To Dial: Obtain dial tone. Press Speed Call key. Enter the Speed Call code. ( to ) Wait for ringing and answer. To Delete: Press Speed Call key. Speed Call indicator flashes. Press the Speed Call code. ( to ) Enter Press Speed Call key. Speed Call indicator extinguishes. MESSAGE Respond when Message Waiting is active on your telephone WAITING To Retrieve: At the flashing Message indicator:
7 Obtain dial tone. Press Message key. Wait for ringing and answer. CALL PARK Put a call in Park and totally detach the call from your set. Anyone can then connect to the call from any telephone set. You are speaking with someone and you want to park a call: To Use: Press the Park key. Record the 4-digit number on the display, assigned to this parked call. Press the Park key again. The call is now parked. To Retrieve: Obtain dial tone. Dial the 4-digit parked call number. You are connected to the parked call. Note: If a parked call is not retrieved within seconds, it will recall to the set where it was parked. CALL PICKUP Pickup a call from any telephone in the same Pickup Group. Obtain dial tone. CALL LOG OPTIONS Choose to record all incoming calls to your Call Log or only unanswered incoming calls. CALL TIMER ENABLE Choose to display a timer that measures how long you are on each call. LIVE DIAL PAD When activated, pressing any dial pad key will automatically select dial tone. PREFERRED NAME MATCH When activated, this feature displays the names of incoming and outgoing callers as stored in your personal directory. AREA CODE SETUP Change your display and callers list to show specific area codes or prefixes, after the extension number and in parenthesis. DATE/TIME FORMAT Choose the format used to display date and time. KEY CLICK ENABLE Turn on or off the click sound heard as you dial. HEADSET PORT ON CALL Allows you to connect a light or other devise to indicate to others that you are on a call. ON-HOOK DEFAULT PATH Choose to automatically open the voice path on headset or handsfree
