2 LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. Download MATCH App On your ipad or iphone, make sure you are connected to the Internet, then go to the Apple Store, search with the keyword MATCH CPnP. 2

3 Register MATCH account LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. Download the app and open it. You will see the Login/Register page. If you are a first time user, please register, if you already have a Match account, enter your login details. 3

4 Please click "create a new account" to start using MATCH APP. LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. Now that you have the app on your iphone or ipad, you need to go to your WIFI network profile and change your network to connect to one with an SSID of MATCH. This is to connect your device directly to the light switch. 4

5 MATCH APP Configuration Methods LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. There are 3 methods of installation for this current version of Match: with UPnP or with Port Forwarding and with CPnP. 1 CPnP (Cloud Plug and Play): Remote control Match through internet, the most easy and recommended setting. 2 UPnP (Universal Plug and Play): Remote control Match through internet. 3 Port Forwarding: Only choose this option when your local network has no additional Public IP to be assigned to the Match. 5

6 LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. Installation using UPnP Please make sure your router has UPnP enabled and it is not blocked by any firewall rules. How to enable UPnP on your router The public IP of the WAN must be enabled. Open any browser and connect to your router (as shown in this example, the router s address is: ), enter your router s username and password: After you have logged in, select WAN, then Internet Connection, and then under Basic Configure ; and select Enable UPnP : 6

7 LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. After that, on you iphone or ipad, select the Match device for your device to connect to. This is to help your light switch to connect to your local network. Once selected, this will be the default network for your switch to connect to: 7

9 Enter the WIFI password, and select UPnP : LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. 9

10 LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. The firmware will now begin installing and you will see the percentage rising. Once the installation is successful, you will see a device list that includes the one you just installed: 10

12 LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. Installation using Port Forwarding If your network does not support UPnP, please install using this method. Make sure your router has Port Forwarding enabled. How to enable Port Forwarding The public IP of the WAN must be enabled. Open any browser and connect to your router (as shown in this example, the router s address is: ), enter your router s username and password: After you have logged in, select WAN, then Virtual Server/Port Forwarding, and then select Enable Port Forwarding. Under Port Forwarding list, enter the following information: Service Name, Port Range, Local IP (the IP address of your router), Local Port (5000) and Protocol (TCP). After all this information has been entered, select Add and then Apply to complete the configuration: 12

13 More on Port Forwarding (You can skip this section if you are familiar with Port Forwarding) LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. Port Forwarding is a method for the Internet to recognize which Match device to communicate with, as the Internet cannot see Local IP addresses and can only recognize Public IP addresses. Case Study In the example below, a building has installed 3 Match devices. Match B Settings Local IP Port Settings for your mobile device (for connecting to the Match Server) Service Name Server IP Port Match A Match B Match C Notes We strongly recommend you to choose port numbers in the range of , anything under 100 could clash with other services. For Local IP configuration, please use your router s DHCP IP architecture. For Local Port, please use

15 LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. Once your network settings have been completed, go to your mobile device and select the Match device to connect to. This is to help your light switch to connect to your local network. Once selected, this will be the default network for your switch to connect to: 15

18 LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. Select your network connection and enter your network s SSID. Then enter the router s local IP address, Gateway IP and Port: 18

21 LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. Installation using CPnP Select the Match device for your device to connect to. This is to help your light switch to connect to your local network. Once selected, this will be the default network for your switch to connect to: 21

25 Once the percentage reaches 100%, the circle will become blue: LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. You can edit and rename the device to anything you like. You can also create a group, or add and remove devices in the group. The group function allows you to control many lights at once. You can now control your lights to go on and off with your mobile device. Either individual lights or groups of lights. You can also set up timers to control your lights to go on and off at the times you wish. 25

26 LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. The app includes many meter functions showing voltage, current, power, energy consumption, costs, and graphs showing electricity usage by day, month or year. Congratulations! You have now successfully completed the installation of MATCH smart light switch. Firmware Update Firmware can be updated with a computer or any mobile device via WiFi. When updating the firmware, there are 2 methods: Local Control and Remote Control. Both methods will be explained below. Local Control This method is to update the firmware from your computer: 1. Download the firmware from our website, and with your laptop (with WiFi connection) create a connection with the MATCH device by entering the last six digits of the MAC ID. MAC ID 26

27 LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. 2. Open any browser on your laptop, and enter the address Select Management/Upgrade Firmware as the screenshot below. Click on Upload and select the firmware update file which you have previously downloaded. Note: If you cannot connect with Match after entering the address: , then you are too far away from the device. 27

28 Remote Control This method is to update the firmware from your mobile device. LUXUL TECHNOLOGY INC. 1. On your ipad, open the Match App and log in. Select the Match device you wish to update by clicking Edit (Click EDIT first, and then click Device ). On the bottom right hand corner of the screen, Click INFO and press the red area cube in the screen. 28
