4 Developer responsibilities 1 Register all requests for fibre infrastructure from NBN Co online at 2 Sign and return the NBN Co developer agreement Design and install pit and pipe infrastructure to NBN Co 3 specifications and standards d and Transfer ownership of pit and pipe infrastructure to NBN Co 4 before fibre can be installed 5 Provide NBN Co with 3 months notice prior to the first service connection date

5 What NBN Co will deliver in new developments Fibre to each home in the estate Backhaul infrastructure Lead-in fibre, Network Termination Device (NTD) and Power Supply Unit (PSU) High speed broadband and telephone services, no RF overlay Wholesale open access network 5

6 How new homeowners connect their services The NBN is a wholesale open access network, which means it provides the high speed infrastructureover which Service Providersdeliverdeliver their products and services liketelephone and high speed broadband. When new homeowners move into their new homes they will need to: 1) contact their local Service Provider to get advice on the best products and services to meet their needs; 2) review the pricing plans and services available from Service Providers over the NBN; and 3) select the right plan for their needs and sign up with the Service Provider of their choice who will then activate their services over the NBN. A list of Service Providers that have gone through the NBN on boarding process and can deliver products and services over the NBN in new developments are available online at: 6
