Topics covered include: hardware and software systems, system software, application software, the system unit, input and output systems, secondary storage, connectivity, the wireless revolution, and communications, the internet, the web, and electronic commerce, privacy and security multimedia, web authoring, databases, and information systems. The students will have an idea of the future and information technology, the evolution of the computer age, how to own microcomputer system, and how to upgrade microcomputer system. In addition, the laboratory will expose the students to word processing, spreadsheets, database management systems, presentation packages, and communication software. توصيف عام Course Objectives Explain the five parts of an information system: people, procedures, software, hardware, and data.
