Firmware Version Prepare Firmware if necessary 2. Communications. Counters Machine Usage 4. Event History History for Errors, Alarms and Jams 5. Consumable Part Counters - Prepare Consumable and Durable Parts 6. Service Modes ITB Belt Position [disp_misc ITB-POS] Whenever possible, Snapshot for : 6 Firmware Version Event History Part Counters Service Mode Settings. Understand the machine's current condition (jams and error, needed consumable parts) before visiting EM call or PM-Call. 2. Prepare all consumable parts that exceeded Target and replace them on a PM-call, replace any parts that exceeded life you have now at the EM call.. Take the necessary actions for the jamg and errors.

Ask Questions to find out if there are any following issues on the machine?.copy Quality 2.Jamg.ERROR 4.Other issues (Copier Only) 5.No Problem - To perform efficient maintenance, we need to ask the customer about machine condition. C2 the Serial Number Ensure the serial number on the machine matches the serial number that you are dispatched to. - If the serial number is incorrect and there is more than one machine at the account that is down please notify dispatch. If you see the same issues listed on the log, then the root cause hasn t been fixed. 2. what parts were replaced recently. These parts should not be replaced again for the same issue.. If the problem seems to be related to the previous call, check what the previous tech did.. System Software Version COPIER>DISPLAY>VERSION 2. If MN-CON is 7.02 or lower, recommend to update the system software to latest version The latest firm contains following major countermeasure. PG6 2.NA Any issues, resolve them as needed. PG 8. Make a PG8 for checking blurs. If blurred copies occur check TP4-07b C Inspect paper Feed Perform C0 and C at the same time to save time Make copies from all Cassette using at least 5 originals in the ADF.. Cassette 2. Cassette 2. Cassette 4. Cassette 4 5. Bypass tray 6. Side Paper Deck Make copies using the following cassette. Point: Make following jobs..double sided 2.Staple.Hole punch If you see the JAM, find the cause and fix that issue. 5

Take off the inside cover to the ADF and clean out any paper dust that is accumulated inside. There is no sticky tape in there and lots of paper dust can accumulate near the sponge pads. the rollers if they were not replaced in step No.5..P/U, Rollers 2. Delivery Rollers. Separation Pad 2 2. Take off the bottom cover and clean off any dust. There is a sticky tape located here. the rollers using lint free paper with water. Sensors should be cleaned by blower brush. If the rollers are under 50% usage, cleaning may not be necessary. DADF-AV M2 the rollers if they were not replaced in step No.5..P/U, Rollers 2. Delivery Rollers. Sep Roller & Pads the rollers using lint free paper with water. Sensors should be cleaned by blower brush. ADF Rollers /Sensors *Visually Inspect the Rollers and only clean if necessary. If the Rollers were recently replaced or cleaned they may be fine Single Pass DADF-A 2

ADF Reading Glass. Platen roller 4. CIS/CCD 2. the ADF reading Glass and Copy Glass with Oil cleaner (FY ). 2. the Platen Roller with Alcohol.. that there is no dirt or any foreign particles on the scanner system part. (CIS/CCD) 4. that the CIS/CCD unit moves smoothly and there is no dirt on the rail. 5. that there is no dew condensation found on the scanning system parts. Mirror ing Tool : Used for cleaning the mirror in the CCD unit. The tool is installed in the Reader Unit 4. If the 2 nd side Glass in ADF is dirty or there are a lot of Alarm codes for this Glass (Alarm code: 02002), take out the 2 nd side glass and clean both side of it. 2. Remove and clean the under side of the Copy Glass and clean the Optics. the ADF Reading Glass and Copy Glass with Oil cleaner (FY ) [TP2 8] 4. the Platen Roller with Alcohol.

Middle plate moves smoothly and is not deformed. Visual M5 Inside of the machine. that the Transfer Roller is not worn and deformed and has a cut/dirt. Let the customer print the test prints from their PC while completing the documentation. 2. Write down the detail actions and all part names and part # in the service log for the next visit.. If you change the service mode value or update the system software, make a P-Print and keep it with the Service Log and User data list. Fill Out P-PRINT P-Print 2 P-PRINT

If you can t fix this issue, call NTSC and get their assistance.. COM TEST COM TEST C7 Communicate to the customer that you are leaving Ask the customer if everything was addressed. Do they have the necessary supplies and ask if they are satisfied with your service. Address all customer issues with your service manager. Ensure they are resolved or addressed, whether they are adistrative, service related or sales oriented. Scan
