Change digit in function mode. / limit setting display, change values. Change digit in function mode / About Auto-Zero Set signal ON manually. Set signal OFF when pressed again. Register the settings in function mode. Auto zero function sets the measurement readings to Zero, during measurement operation. This function is not related with measurement modes or display values. This function sets the current measurement readings to Zero in Tracking Mode. Thus, even if you set the auto zero in Hold Mode, it will not work (cannot be zero). 〇 Perform auto-zero with external control input signal Make a short-circuit 6ZERO with 8COM1 in rear terminal block. The time should be over 200 msec. 〇 Perform auto-zero with manual key input ZERO Press key over 2 seconds. 6

9 Calibration procedures If the sensor and display unit was calibrated at the factory before shipment, there is no need to recalibrate. 9

10 Before Calibration Calibration should be connected with load cell properly, please refer to page 8 in this manual. Also, please make sure input-relay is released during calibration. Factory Calibration Settings If your unit is not specified, we are shipping in the following electrical calibration. Therefore, please recalibrate this instrument yourself before use. 1. will be displayed when the load cell output is 0.000mV / V. 2. will be displayed when the load cell output is 1.000mV / V. Calibration Type The calibration can be selected the following three ways 1 Electrical Calibration Register the load cell output (mv/v or μv/v) at the time of maximum display value (weighing capacity). 2 Actual load calibration (1) Register by the reading output of load(weight, pressure), at the time of actual load applied individually. 3 Actual load calibration (2) Register by the reading output of load(weight, pressure), at the time of actual load applied individually, after regist er the maximum display value (weighing capacity). 10

11 Electrical Calibration 1 Press the key with key over 2 seconds, to enter Function mode. 2 Calibration Mode Selection Press the key once to display and press key. 3 Display Rate Selection When entering will be display during 2 seconds, after that the current display rate value will be display, and waits for more input automatically. Press the key to change the value. Press the key to register. Display rates per second 1 time per second 2 times per second 5 times per second 10 times per second 20 times per second 50 times per second 4 Register the Maximum Display Value When you enter this mode will be display during 2 seconds, after that the current value will be display, and waits for more input automatically. ZERO If you want to back to measuring mode, press key, then the display shows Press key to change row value and, press key to change digit value. Press the key to register. Change display value from 3300 to Register the Zero Point Value Press key to register, in No-Load condition of load cell. Procedure will be carry automatically. During this procedure, please make sure that the load cell is in no-load condition. Will be display.(max. 10 seconds) 11

12 6 Register Maximum Analog Input Voltage When you enter this mode, will be display about 2 seconds, after that the current value will be display, and waits for more input automatically. Please set the decimal point position *.***[mv/v] when the maximum input voltage is over 1.000mV/V, if the maximum input voltage is less then 1.000mV/V, please select *.***[μv/v]) The decimal point is flashing. If you want to change decimal point, press key to change position and to register press key. Press key to change row, press key to change value. Press the key to register, if you know the output voltage of loadcell or known output load ([mv / V] or [μv / V]). You can change the value from 2.000mV / V to 800.0μV /V(0.800mV / V) Display shows the maximum input voltage during registration 7 Display shows if the calibration is successful and back to measuring mode About Errors Please see page 19 12

Procedure will be carry automatically. During this procedure, please make sure that the load cell is in no-load condition. Will be display.(max. 10 seconds) 5 Actual load Registration When entering will be displayed for 2 seconds, the current settings will display, and waits for more input. Press the key to change the value. Press the key to register. When you want to register real load calibration then put an actual load over the load cell, press when display value what you want. To change display value from 5000 to 2000 Display shows during registering. Please stabilize the load during processing. After registering, display the input voltage of actual load for 4 seconds. The value is μv /V in this time. 14

17 6 Actual load Registration When entering will be displayed for 2 seconds, the current settings will display, and waits for more input. Press the key to change the value. Press the key to register. When you want to register real load calibration then put an actual load over the load cell, press when display value what you want. To change display value from 4000 to 2000 Display shows during registering. Please stabilize the load during processing. The maximum display value is registered 4000 in step 4. If you want to display 2000 when the actual load is 1.000mV/V, the calculated value 2.000(mV/V) will be display for 4 seconds as a result. 7 Display shows if the calibration is successful and back to measuring mode About Errors Please see page 19 Please remove the actual load. 17

23 Function Setting Procedure 1 Press and key over 2 seconds, to enter setting mode. 2 Function Mode Selection 3 Select function No. When you enter, will be display, press key. When you enter will be display with flashing number. Key will increase the number. Press the key until what you want to set function No. 4 Data set When you enter, function No, and current setting value will be display. When the whole number flashing, press key to change. When the 1st number flashing, press key and press key to change number. Press key to move next. To register modification, press the key and key over 2 seconds Ex) Change supply voltage from DC5V to DC2.5V. will be display, and will be back to measurement mode. 24 Excitation Voltage setting Excitation voltage setting If you do not specify the voltage, DC5V will be set. 27 Judgment Output setting Pealse set the Upper limit () and the lower limit () Standard Factory Setting is During the measurement mode, If you press, key LED will be blinking. The last digit of current upper limit value will be flashing. Press key to change row value and, press key to change digit value. Press the key to register, and return to measuring mode. ZERO If you press key before key, this will clear all digit value that you input And, return to the last digit of current upper limit value will be flashing. If you press key LED will be blinking. The last digit of current lower limit value will be flashing. Please set a lower limit as well If you change the polarity press key, while the first digit is flashing. If the polarity is positive, the LED will be blank. If the polarity is negative, the LED will be flashing. Please change the polarity with key In case of monitoring only / value. Press or Key, last digit of value will be flashing after that press key then if the key is not pressed for 20 seconds, it returns to measurement mode. Setting Setting You can set the Judgment output. 32 Relay Output and LED setting Setting You can set the relay output and condition of judgment output results in LED setting. Zero track function is chase over the zero-band and set the display value to zero. This function is continued until the time interval and setting width is in range. If the setting values are out of range, the display value shows curr ent values(not zero). Please set this function when zero point is not stabilized cause of extreme change of tempe rature and humidity conditions or if you want to remove vibration effect. 34 Analog Current Output Setting OP-01 is 4 ~ 20mA current output instead of the 0 ~ 10V voltage output. The output comes from 9 and 10 in rear port.
