13 Spring clamp terminal blocks Design specifications This product series consists of terminal blocks using spring clamp technology. Spring clamp technology is defined as an electrical connection produced by terminating an individual, stripped conductor with a spring. 16 Screw type terminal blocks Design specifications Terminal bodies Terminal bodies are made of copper alloy - RIA does not use wrapped terminal bodies. The surface is electro-nickel plated. Versions with soldering pins are initially electro-nickel-plated, and then hot-dip galvanized to achieve high resistance to corrosion and outstanding soldering properties. All terminal bodies are captive in their moldings. Terminal screws Terminal screws sizes M2, M3 and M3.5 are made ofdifferent materials, varied upon needs. The bottom surfaces are rounded off, permitting leads to be connected without wire protectors. All screws are hot-dip galvanized, 4 μm nickel plating over 8 μm copper to provide a better protection against corrosion. The screws are usually secured in a fashion as to prevent them from working loose duringshipment. Wire protectors Wire protectors are made of tin-bronze with a hot-dip galvanized plating treatment. This prevents damage to conductors during the connecting process. Lift system Terminals with lift system incorporate an integral soldering pin made of special grade brass. Plating consists of an electro-nickel-base, followed by hot-dip galvanizing. Ribs across the contact area of the terminal and the special shape of the base of the terminal body ensure that even the finest wires are securely clamped.the ribs enable the oxide film on the wire to be penetrated in numerous places, thereby guaranteeing good contact, as well as holding the wire securely and without damage. Rising wire protectors Certain models are equipped with a rising wire protector, made of nickel silver, which performs similar to the lift system. When the screw is turned, the wire protector lifts parallel to the base of the terminal body. Contact systems for the RIA plug system Tube contact Tube contacts are made of beryllium copper which is silver-plated, tin-plated or gold-plated, varied upon needs. As a result of the seven points of contact, currents up to 10 A can be conducted. Even after 100 plug-in cycles, the contact resistance between the female contact and header is less than or equal to 5 mω. 22 Headers Design Specifications Contact pins Contact pins are made of wrought copper alloy with surface protection plating. Standard procedure offers a silver plating possibility. Electro-tin plating, gold flash or gold plating is available on request. Information concerning the stock keeping of passivated silver pins: keep them in closed plastic bags; not loose in cardboard boxes no direct light room temperature do not expose them to aggressive ambient conditions Through Hole Reflow Processes Our THR compatible headers allow up to 30 % savings on production processes. Our headers can be processed together with other SMT components during a reflow soldering process thanks to their THR capacities. Furthermore we supply some of our headers also with tape on reel packaging for automatic assembly. Please contact us if you have special needs; we will show you our solutions. Information concerning the soldering process: Do respect the standard for surface mounting techniques IEC (EN ). Our headers are typically made of temperature-resistant materials as per UL94 V0 and comply with a maximum temperature of 245 C during max. 90 seconds, except for Type 18/28. The THR compatible headers comply with a maximum temperature of 290 C during max. 90 seconds. The best results can be obtained with components of up to 8 poles; we recommend to contact our Sales Dept. for higher pole sizes. Tape on Reel The tape based packaging solution is called Tape on Reel. This packaging solution makes fully sense in a completely automated production process. The components are placed in blister tapes and secured into place by a protective foil. Finally this tape is rolled on a reel. The taping process is done according to IEC

Thus the OpDAT REG pro is an ideal solution for the use in industrial environment and electrical cabinet construction. The detachable front plate and the optional removable splice tray with fiber reservoir and mounted crimp splice holder allow very easy splicing and laying of up to 12 (24) fibers. Reserves of cable and fiber are lying in two separate levels. 61 BACnet MS/TP Modules - Contents I/O components with BACnet MS/TP Automation in buildings, machines and systems It is essential that operational functions such as monitoring, air conditioning and lighting are running in an automated way when operating large or small buildings today in a secure and cost efficient way. However, this naturally increases the requirements for building installation, but in most cases conventional equipment is no longer able to provide the necessary performance.
