Internet Connectivity Business-class broadband Internet connection with 150 Kbps bandwidth per user required for online services. 6 Terminal Server Licensing If number of remote users exceed 5, then per user TS licenses are required. 1.3 SSD (Solid-State Drive) Using SSD drives boosts up the speed by 500 percent and consumes less energy. An SSD-equipped PC will boot in seconds. It should be in RAID. SSD will provide a performance boost over SCSI HDD. Drive capacity requirements increase with scanning and imaging storage needs. Drives should be partitioned. C partition should hold the OS; D partition should hold IMS database. RAID 5 is recommended for maximum redundancy and data protection. More recent versions like windows server 2016 is in compatibility testing phase. Standard requirement for Internet service: static IP, latency: minimum 50 ms round-trip on a standard ping packet, packet loss: less than 1 percent

Network Router / Firewall 2 Wireless Discretion of local IT technician For better performance, we recommend Gigabyte switches and routers (10/100/1000) Hardwiring your office to the Internet is always the best solution. However, if you seek the convenience of wireless PCs, you do have the option of using them through a Terminal Services connection to a computer that is hardwired to the Internet. Setting up a simple remote connection will give you the flexibility of wireless Internet with the dependability of a hardwired Internet connection.
