1 Cloud Hardware and Software Requirements Last Updated: May, 07 MicroMD Cloud Password Requirements Standardization of user name\password is based on the following: [ClientNumber]_[FirstInitial][LastName] For example: 3_jdoe Must be at least six characters in length Password Complexity Requirements Must contain three out of the following four: () Capital letter; () Lowercase letter; (3) Number; (4) Special character Must lead with a letter Cannot contain consecutive letters that are in your user name or full name. Note: The Internet Connection Speed requirements above are for running MicroMD only. If you are doing any other internet-based functions, it is recommended that clients increase their bandwidth. Many factors can affect internet connection speed as it relates to bandwidth. Some of these factors include streaming video/radio, remote scanning and printing, sending third party images, etc. Clients should determine their full bandwidth needs of the practice before choosing an Internet Service Provider (ISP). Additional Note: A secondary internet connection is recommended in the event that there is an interruption of service on the primary internet connection. This will allow for better business continuity during long or short interruption of service affecting the day to day business and access to the MicroMD Cloud Solution. MicroMD products follow manufacturer s recommendations for software efficiency, as well as its own internal testing to determine the hardware requirements for MicroMD products to perform at optimal efficiency. I, as the client, and, if applicable, our designated representative (IT/hardware vendor, consultant or system administrator), agrees to be responsible for ensuring all hardware and software compatibility according to these requirements. It is strongly recommended that a hardware maintenance contract be in place with a 3rd party IT/ hardware vendor or consultant to help manage IT/hardware decisions, purchases and ongoing maintenance for your organization. By signing this document you, as the Client, and, if applicable, your IT/hardware vendor, consultant or system administrator certifies that your hardware and software meets or exceeds the requirements as outlined in this document. Failure to comply could result in performance issues and/or the cancellation of MicroMD software installations or upgrades, as well as the incurrence of additional costs in the form of support fees and/or hardware and software purchases to meet the requirements as outlined in this document. By meeting or exceeding the hardware and software requirements, clients can be assured that Henry Schein MicroMD Client Support will continue to support the MicroMD PM + EMR software as outlined in your Software Maintenance Agreement.
