This facility provides many cast products to various Mitutoyo manufacturing plants for further processing into world- class measuring tools and instruments. Once the raw castings are completed they are transferred to one of our manufacturing facilities at Shiwa. Here they are machined converting them into a finished high quality rigid frame required to ensure high accuracy. The frames are then combined with the other components produced in Shiwa such as spindles, anvils, thimbles, etc. to complete the production. The process does not stop here. Each instrument is quality inspected and tested to ensure full compliance to Mitutoyo and other world standards. Automatic inspection systems employed to provide a full inspection certificate for each tool, which is then packaged and prepared to be shipped to one of our many global Mitutoyo locations. 4
