2 Project leader realisation This system allows base band test according to ATLAS language and standard. I developed it in order to replace old ATLAS system for RATP Company For this project a TSA tester from Rohde&Schwarz (A1) has been especially adapted to reach ATLAS specifications. On top of that the tester uses a large variety of resources like: (A19) CAPRA programmable loads. (A14) A VXI rack and his boards: (ex : counter, Arbitrary Generators ) (A6) Hi current Xantrex power supply. (A7) Hi voltage Xantrex power supply. (A4) Hi voltage amplifiers. (A5) Hi current amplifiers. The overall system is remote controlled by an industrial PC associated with a complete and powerful auto-test. 2//8

3 Project leader realisation This system allows a final test on a product named Screen-phone or Web-phone. Screen-phone is a Web light client with a sensitive screen. I developed this test system for Alcatel Company. The assembled product is locked on the test fixture. Then it could be automatically tested: Sensitive screen factory calibration. Keyboard test. LED indicators test. Acoustical SLR, RLR test. Acoustical Hand free test. Embed modem test. The test fixture is located on one side of the production line. The test bench is set up below the line. The system is remote controlled by a Compact PCI (CPCI) computer with Stand test scheduler. 33//88

4 Project leader realisation That system equipped Alcatel GSM R&D. It was designed to accelerate the GSM product qualification circuit and avoid unnecessary homologation procedure. This system was constructed around software able to remote control all necessary Rohde&Schwartz instruments to make normative GSM test. The software was able to self-adapt to a great variety of hardware configuration. On full options configuration the system was able to address the following instruments: A DC to 18GHz RF switching matrix. Many RF generators with numerical modulation. An RF Analyser for burst analysis. A GSM/DCS Radio bench for protocol. Project leader realisation 1) Retractable LCD screen: This drawer allows a secure transport of keyboard and a retractable screen. 2) SME03: CW Synthesized generator. It can also generate GSM frames 4) NRVD: R&S RF Power Metter. 5) COUPLER: Bidirectional RF coupler used for ROS measurement 6) UPL: R&S audio Analyser. 7) DACOMOBILE: Movable bench to allow transport along the factory production lines. This system was dedicated to Philips GSM factories around the world. It was designed for 2 main use cases: The first use case was a full specification test of Philips GSM test system. The second use case was the extern Mode. In this mode the system was remote controlled by the Philips GSM test system in order to make a self calibration of RF ways. Mounted on a movable bench, the system can be easily moved along the production lines. 4//8

5 Project leader realisation Ordered by Ericsson, this system equipped Elcotecq production line in Finland. It was designed to allow final functional test of Harald Bluetooth earphone. The system was equipped with 2 independent test channels remote controlled by a single CPICI computer. I had developed that test system to ensure functional test on acoustical, mechanical, optical and radio parts. 5//8

6 Project leader realisation I invented that test technology when I was test project leader. MHDriver technology is based on the fact that a lot of tests in production line haven t any direct relation. That technology allows to run many test at the same time and on the same product even if they share the same physical bus (Ex : BoundaryScan). By this way a sequence of test can be replaced by an architecture of test that could be executed at the same time with no perturbations. A result of this technology is a huge time saving benefit. 7 software Team leader realisation MySTF A development model A project methodology An execution environment System of MySTF Addins and Wizards MySTF Skill component Sequencer: CELSIUS/SAAB MySTF Sequencer My first job, when I became team leader, was to reduce test applications maintaining cost by creating an uncial test framework for all production sites. This framework is named MySTF standing for My SAGEM Framework. Not only MySTF allows a significant cost reduction, but also it became the uncial working methodology shared by all test developers. So that, it s now a reference approved and applied on different SAGEM sites (Fougère, Montauban, Velizy and St Christophe). MySTF framework allows the conception of software components based on production knowledge. All components are written in C++ language by respecting: a MySTF project methodology, a MySTF component model and MySTF C++ development rules. When developed, a MySTF component can by used by C based application (CVI), VB applications or C++ Applications. On production site, a sequencer constructed with MySTF components is able to chain tests according to a test sequence script written in XML. 7//8

8 software Team leader realisation After MySTF foundation, I have managed the deployment of a factory test library based on MySTF components technology: A specific library for embedded software downloading. A library based on MHDriver to ensure base band tests with optimum speed performances. A library for Radio trimming and test for GSM/EDGE or WCDMA. That library is able to handle Texas or EMP chipset. Libraries are deployed through a modular architecture of DLLs. Each MySTF component as been studied on an UML object conception with all multi use cases. 8//8
