The E-stop circuit consists of an E-stop button located on the door of the controls cabinet, trips on connection boxes on AC & DC output of the P.S., and relays from the Bitronics power meter, the compact DAQ, and the edtc system. See Shunt Trip Circuit (Page A-). OTE : DC Disconnects are not a fail safe precaution, however, as the power supply can hold voltage across the leads for extended periods of time (approx. minutes) after it is shut down. Extra measures should be taken to discharge the capacitors within the power supply before working on the leads of the power supply OTE : DC Disconnects are fused and fuses are rated for inverter maximum current. OTE : All CB s in the system are rated at 00k AIC. This is to protect against the possible ground faults in the InteGrid Switchgear which could propagate into our system. A thorough fault analysis of the switchgear and of our system as a part of the switchgear is in progress. If the AIC ratings change, adjust CB ratings appropriately.
