4 1 Introduction This product designated RXM433 is an UHF radio receiver with a relay output. In this version (product number 2366) the product is mounted in a plastics box for wall mounting. The product is also sold as PCB without box. The RXM433 receives radio telegrams from STT Condigi A/S transmitters of the types such as MI72 or PS72. On reception of a telegram from a co-operating transmitter, the output relay activates for a short time period. 6 3.2.2 Power Supply The RXM433 is implemented with an internal power supply in order to deliver power to the internal circuitry. The power supply has the following specifications: Input voltage: Output voltage: [V] DC input. 5 [V] 5 IOUT 100 [ma]. The input to power supply is available on screw terminals "J4". (See appendix) Note 1: These connections are parallel circuits to the power supply connections, and may be used as such. Note 2: Current limited by a 150 ohm series resistor. The output relay can be floating in respect to supply and Gnd, or the C pin can be connected to either the Supply voltage, +5V out or Gnd. See the section Relay level jumpers for setup details. 7 Note 3: Only valid, if no level is connected to the relay contacts by internal jumpers. 3.3 Electrical- and Logical Set-up Before any change to the electrical- or logical set-up can be done, the back cover of the device must be removed. Unscrew the four screws on the back of the device, and remove the cover. All set-ups are available this way. There is no need, to do further disassemble. This selection is done by jumper "J7". Only one jumper may be installed at a time. 8 3.3.2 ID Programming The RX70 micro controller shall store the ID for the co-operating transmitter to lock out radio telegrams from any other transmitter. To program ID, the RXM433 must be "ON", indicated by green light at "LD3" Storing of ID is done by pressing and holding the ID program button "S1", and then activate the co-operating transmitter. Release the ID program button when the indicator "LD1" emits steady light. After the Program ID button is released, the "LD1" flashes two times. Test the programming by activating the transmitter again. The output relay shall activate for two seconds and then deactivate. The ID programming applies to all transmitters without position transmission: MI72, TX72, DT72, MT72, BD72, SD72 etc Position Programming The RX70 micro controller will store the POSITION for the co-operating transmitter (MIP72, PS72 and TX72P) to lock out radio telegrams from any other position and transmitter types. To program a POSITION, the RXM433 must be "ON", indicated by green light at "LD3". Storing of POSITION is done by pressing and holding the ID program button "S1", and then activate the co-operating transmitter. Release the POSITION program button when the indicator "LD1" emits steady light. After the Program POSITION button is released, the "LD1" flashes two times. Test the programming by activating the transmitter again. The output relay shall activate for two seconds and then deactivate. The POSITION programming applies to all transmitters with position transmission: MIP72, PS72 and TX72P. This function is active after (August 2003), and the RX70 version must be version and later. 9 4 User Guide 4.1 Daily Use The indicator "LD3" (marked "On") must be on for the RXM433 to work. For every activation of a transmitter with the correct ID, the RXM433 will activate the output relay for two seconds, and then deactivate the relay. 4.2 Maintenance No maintenance is required. 10 5.2 Requirements Power supply, temperature and humidity must be within the specified ranges. The co-operating transmitter must comply with the Jenka Electronics A/S standard for radio telegrams (SADLC telegrams).
