2 Rapid InterConnect Solutions The G12 Mass InterConnect from VPC meets the performance demands of today s Electronics Test Industry and offers a low profile solution for rapid connectivity between instrumentation and devices under test. With multiple interconnect options in a modular, reconfigurable interface device, the G12 is ideal for commercial, contract manufacturing, automotive, and other high-volume testing environments. The G12 features an aluminum platform in 15 or 20 lengths to accommodate in-circuit and other functional testing requirements. The platform is also capable of supporting up to 350 lbs ( Kg). Integrated guide pins and proven QuadraTrack slides provide precise lead-in for enagement while pin and socket modules and contact secure reliable connections to over 20,000 mating cycles. The G12 is also equipped with a unique engagement handle that can be repositioned in 90 degree increments to satisfy different mounting requirements. This gives G12 the ability to perform in a variety of environments. The 3U height is ideal for rack use, while providing a low-profile platform for tabletop test applications.

4 Modular The 12 module positions are configurable for multiple I/O options which allows the G12 to meet virtually any medium I/O connectivity requirement. The G12 accepts all standard VPC modules and accommodates up to 2,880 signal contacts. Additional Accessories The G12 offers many accessories to chose from, especially in the slide configuration. If the G12 is slide mounted, the keyboard tray kit and the instrument bracket kit with strain relief are available for easy integration and test system maintenance. With the tabletop configuration, there is a rear cover to protect wiring that is cabled down to test instrumentation below the receiver. Alternative Configurations The G12 is available with 15 and 20 platforms for tabletop and slide-mounted applications. The tabletop option allows the G12 Mass InterConnect system to be portable and gives you easy access to instrumentation and wiring. The slide configuration is also a versatile option to extend the G12 Receiver allowing test system access. An Extended Leg Kit is available for the 20 platform to support large fixtures. vpc.com/g12
