3 The RFH620 RFID Proximity Interrogator is a read/write unit with ranges of up to 16 cm for ISO/IEC compliant transponders. Existing plants can be economically and flexibly expanded thanks to its compact housing and integrated antenna. The support of common fieldbus systems via its universal connection technology simplifies integration in almost all applications. 9 Network integration The RFID Proximity Interrogator RFH620 can be integrated in numerous fieldbus applications without major wiring effort. The devices already have Ethernet and CAN interfaces. All devices can also be used as multiplexers in SICK CAN-sensor networks **). The devices can be integrated in PROFIBUS **) networks via external fieldbus proxies. The 2-component solution device with separate connection module offers the advantage that the scanner can be optimally positioned in the plant while the connection module remains easily accessible.
