Technical Characteristics Insulation voltage of Ui 690V The equipment to be installed in the interior of the enclosures should not have a thermal dissipation power of over 75W. The enclosures with Reinforcement of the Mechanical Resistance (RRM) are class II insulation, comprised of an interior enclosure in plastic with an exterior reinforcement and a steel plate door. The enclosures are preferably to be used in the interior of the 67

5 SAFETYMAX P100A ENCLOSURE 2E+2S SWITCH BOX The P100A enclosures are intended to be flush mounted on the wall and for installation on the exterior of a building, in areas where non-qualified individuals pass. A cylindrical style lock with a round frame should be installed, in accordance with DMA-E84-002/N. However, a triangular plastic lock is supplied (Ref ). The P100A enclosure is equipped with three 22x58 single pole fuse bases for the connection of the exterior phase conductors and isolating neutral base, for the connection of unprepared conductors. The product is qualified by EDP (energy supply company) in accordance with DMA C /N The 2E+2S Switch Box is equipped with six NH00 fuse bases which allow the derivation of two protected channels (branches) stemming from one main channel. The neutral bar is mounted to the left, with the option of being mounted to the right. It includes a triangular plastic lock (Ref ). We recommend that the energy distributor be contacted before installation. PC/P ENCLOSURE P400A ENCLOSURE The P400A enclosures are intended to be flush mounted on the wall and for installation on the exterior of a building, in areas where non-qualified individuals pass. The P400A enclosure has a retractable-like lock, in accordance with DMA-E84-006/N, which allows the door to be closed on the bottom, in the centre and on top. It is equipped with three NH2 single pole fuse bases and an isolating neutral base. The product is qualified by EDP (energy supply company) in accordance with DMA C /N The consumption/production enclosure is equipped with a 22x58 3P fuse base to protect the installation circuit use and 10x38 P+N fuse base to protect the microproduction circuit. The circuit plate is mounted with two terminals. It includes a triangular plastic lock (Ref ). PC/P enclosure is intended to be installed in solutions A,B,E, according to the technical specifications defined at

Equipped with a 30x10 copper bar to incorporate the current transformers up to 300/5A (in the case of 3 phases, it shall be the primary for the current transformer). Manufactured in accordance with DMA-C on the levels corresponding to the electrical installations (of use) served by the outputs derived from them. They should have a cover with a locking device which will guarantee its inviolability. The TPT enclosure has a movable connector which allows for the measurement of the resistance value of the ground electrode, according to what is defined in part of the RTIEBT. Law-Decree 123/2009, of May 21st, altered by Law-Decree 258/2009 of September 25th ITED Legal Document Directive of Low-Voltage 2006/95/CE (Law-Decree 6/2008 of January 10th) RAQUITED is comprised of a white box, similar to a frame, to incorporate the 19 panels with the passive equipment (RC-PC, RC-CC and RC-FO). It is prepared for ventilation by natural convection with the possibility of forced ventilation. With RAQUITED it is possible to invert the opening of the door. The lateral panels, with an opening system, allow for easy access into the interior of the frame. The 19 panels for the frame are supplied with the passive equipment for the copper pair (PC), Coaxial (CC) and Optic Fibre (FO). All panels include a mounting set ( CONJ RAQUITED PARAF PORCA). The RAQUITED 19 panels, to derivate or distribute the signal in the Copper Pair, are CAT6 and allow for the connection of the cable screen (shield) to the ground. The Panels for the Optic Fibre are supplied with 4 double SC/APC adaptors. It allows for a good management of the cables, pre-cut at the top, base and back area. The protection indexes of equipped switchboards manufactured by Quitérios are superior to the minimum values required in the RTIEBT. In the rising main switchboards, protection is IP43-IK07 and corresponds to codes AD3, AE3 and AG2. 73

Rising Main Switchboard (803.3) Every building, as a rule, should have one rising main switchboard. The rising main switchboard should be located in the interior of the building, and in as much as possible, near its normal access and the respective hatch or hatches, when they exist. The rising main switchboard should be installed in an appropriate location with easy access and so that the mounted components are in a position that are easily accessible from the floor. The location and the installation of the rising main switchboard should be in a place that if an accident should occur in its interior, it would not hinder, under any circumstances, an evacuation of people or the organisation of first aid. 74

Insulation class II standardised enclosures to incorporate protection and meter equipment for Low-Voltage. The casings are comprised of: Base enclosures made of hot pressed polyester and reinforced with fibreglass, Transparent polycarbonate cover. The meter assemblies are sized (with space) for three phase inputs and for three phase meter equipment, even if the installation has been designed for a single phase, so that it allows for a future passing of single phase to three phase input. The covers are affixed with screws with the possibility of sealing. The derivation slide bar enclosure can hold the terminal and the fuses, or separate enclosures can be used for the terminal and for the fuses. The meter assemblies gives priority to the electrical design; if indicated 14x51 disconnectors can be installed, although the DIT-C14-140/N does not recommend their installation. The meter assemblies are comprised of a set of equipment (disconnectors, cables and connectors) for each meter equipment unit to be installed. The equipment sets are comprised of: 14x51 disconnectors (three pole or single pole), 10mm2 rigid cable and connection terminals (4 poles or 2 poles). 22x58 disconnectors (three pole or single pole), 16mm2 rigid cable and connection terminals (4 poles or 2 poles). SHOCKS The Meter Assemblies set is Class II insulation, with an IP44 and IK09 protection index. Access is obtained through the use of a tool or key. The transparent cover allows for an easy reading and control of the meter equipment and other elements.
