5 Methodology RESEARCH METHOD Telephone interview based on script provided to the operator (CATI) SAMPLE SIZE 124 companies with cloud 5 companies which consider cloud 69 companies which do not consider cloud TARGET GROUP SMB business excluding agriculture (turnover mil. CZK per year) RESEARCH TOOLS Structured questionnaire in length of 10 minutes Ipsos for Microsoft: Cloud Solutions Potential 5

6 Quantitative Part Results Summary Have cloud: 63% Do not consider: 35% Do not have cloud but consider: 3% The Czech cloud market seems to be saturated: From almost 200 companies surveyed, only 5 consider to introduce cloud solutions in the next year. On the other hand, 1/3 of companies (which have cloud) have been using cloud for more than 2 years. There is relatively high level of satisfaction with all steps of the process. Searching information Cloud usage Purchasing process Deployment process The top 5 cloud solutions in terms of usage on the Czech market: Google Apps Hosting Microsoft BI on SQL Server Dropbox/Box Office 365 Office (Office 365, Google Apps) and Drive applications (Google Drive, OneDrive, icloud, Dropbox) have the highest level of satisfaction (based on the NPS score). Cloud error prone IT. Use all means for data protection For HBI data have disaster recovery scenarios in place

Treating all data, PII data specifically Must have : EU DPA, ISO 27018, ISO 27001, SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type II Cloud exist strategy with respect to my data? Access to data after the exit, and digital wipe
