Need for a open and flexible payments processing platform with excellent plug-and-play integration capabilities, as well as market connectivity (eg SWIFTNET and SWIFTNET Instant). EBPI found that the IBM payments platform and technology covered its needs very well IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) based on WAS, MQ, Integration Bus, Cognos, Db2 for payments processing and SWIFT access LinuxOne mainframe.
