4 ANNOUNCEMENTS Southern California Gas (SoCalGas) Staffing Announcement Frank Spasaro has retired and that Becky Estrella has accepted the position of Energy Efficiency Public Sector Manager at SoCalGas. Her responsibilities include overseeing all energy efficiency programs for the Public Sector. She started her new position on May 6 th. Nat l Standard Practice Manual for Assessing Cost-Effectiveness Multi-year initiative with broad base of stakeholders to update the assessment of EE using lessons learned from last 20 years Goal: become the national basis of assessing cost-effectiveness Member s Only Section of our Website is Now Available! 7 Recent White Papers CPUC Staff IRP Whitepaper Proposal for Implementing IRP at the CPUC was issued May 16, 2017 via an Administrative Law Judge s ruling available HERE Comments are due in R on June 14, 2017, with replies due June 26, Anyone wishing to file comments on the Staff Proposal must be a party to R NMEC White Paper Final Draft The draft final version of the white paper entitled Mitigating Self-Selection Bias in Billing Analysis for Impact Evaluation has been posted for public comment. Covers key issues related to evaluating impacts using normalized metered energy consumption (NMEC) per AB 802. White Paper and template for comments, due June 2, are located HERE

9 DR Proceeding (R ) May 11: Amended Scoping Memo in the Demand Response (DR) proceeding (R ) asks to consider: Cost causation net neutrality principle; CAISO integration issues; and A fourth DR Auction Mechanism (DRAM) pilot with an auction in 2018 and delivery in Creates a Fourth Phase Development of new models of DR for CEC forecasts and coordination with the Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Auction Plan. Continues the Rulemaking until November 2018
