2 Our vision The National Business Crime Solution (NBCS) enables the effective sharing of appropriate data between the police, crime reduction agencies and the business community to reduce crime and risks to all Tackling business crime together 2

4 NATIONAL REGIONAL LOCAL How does it work? Businesses are quickly informed about the potential threats they face, through alerts and online dashboards that map out criminal patterns. Our centralised platform helps to highlight the full extent of crimes taking place to the police. When criminal patterns show signs of serious or organised offending, we pull the relevant information together and liaise with the relevant forces to raise awareness of the issue and ensure appropriate action is taken. The intelligence we gather provides a strong evidence base that shows the impact of business crime enabling us to work closely with police, enforcement agencies and strategic partners to better prevent, detect and prosecute offenders affecting member businesses. Our work gives us a strong platform to lobby both the Government and the police on behalf of the UK s business community. Tackling business crime together 4
