These projects are reported on a monthly basis to keep the Board informed of project completions, delays and challenges. Expansion Projects American Electric Power (AEP) Airline 69 kv Loop Project: This project will rebuild 29 miles of 69 kilovolt (kv) transmission line in the Corpus Christi area. Surveying and engineering activities are in progress. This project was approved at the April 2002 LCRA TSC Board meeting, and the project agreement was signed in July This project is in Nueces County and is scheduled for completion by June Del Rio Area Project: This project will rebuild 130 miles of 138 kv transmission line east of Del Rio. Real estate acquisition, surveying and engineering activities are in progress. This project was approved at the April 2002 LCRA TSC Board meeting and the project agreement was signed in July This project is in Dimmit, Kinney, Maverick, Val Verde and Uvalde counties and is scheduled for completion by March Fort Lancaster-to-Twin Buttes Project: This project will establish 110 miles of new transmission line in West Texas. The Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) application for the Fort Lancaster-to-Friend Ranch was approved by the Public Utility Commission of Texas LCRA Transmission Services Corporation Board Agenda - April 2004 I:I!:r 5 i> 43

2 Page 39 of 54 (PUC) on March 21,2003. Real estate acquisition, surveying and engineering activities are in progress for this segment of the project. The filing of the CCN application for the Friend Ranch-to- Twin Buttes transmission line has been postponed. This project was defined as in-scope under the JDA (Joint Development Agreement) that was signed between AEP and LCRA in July This project is in Crockett, Irion, Pecos, Terrell, Schleicher and Tom Green counties and is scheduled for completion by July Morgan Creek-to-Comanche Project: This project constructed 145 miles of new 345 kv transmission line in the areas west and east of San Angelo, which was completed in June 2003, and will construct a switching station at Twin Buttes. Construction activities for the Twin Buttes Switch Station are in progress and is scheduled for completion in July This project was approved at the September 2000 and February 2001 LCRA Board meetings. This project is in Concho, Coke, Coleman, Sterling, McCulloch and Tom Green counties. North Pharr-Harlingen Switch kv Transmission Line Upgrade Project: This project will rebuild 30.3 miles of transmission line and convert the line from 69 kv to 138 kv operations. Project planning, surveying and engineering activities are in progress. This project was approved at the September 2002 LCRA TSC Board meeting, and the project agreement was signed in December This project is in Cameron and Hidalgo counties and is scheduled for completion by summer Rebuild Rincon-to-Rockport 138 kv Line Project: This project will rebuild 15 miles of 138 kv transmission line in the area west of Rockport. Engineering and procurement activities are in progress. This project was approved at the April 2002 LCRA TSC Board meeting, and the project agreement was signed in July This project is in Aransas and San Patricio counties and is scheduled for completion by December Rebuild Rockport-to-Fulton 69 kv Line Project: This project will rebuild seven miles of 69 kv transmission line between the cities of Rockport and Fulton. Surveying and engineering activities axe in progress. This project was approved at the April 2002 LCRA TSC Board meeting, and the project agreement was signed July This project is in Aransas County and is scheduled for completion by June Rio Grande 69 kv-to-138 kv Conversion Project: This project will convert 26 miles of transmission line from 69 kv to 138 kv in the vicinity of Rio Grande City. Project planning, surveying and engineering activities are in progress. This project was approved at the April 2002 LCRA TSC Board meeting, and the project agreement was signed in July This project is in Starr County and is scheduled for completion by October Rio Pecos Line Upgrade Project: This project will upgrade 220 miles of existing transmission lines in West Texas. The project consists of 13 transmission lines and four new switching stations. To date, 90 miles of transmission line have been constructed or upgraded, and all four switching stations have been completed. Construction is in progress on both circuits of the North McCameyto-Rio Pecos transmission line and on the Rio Pecos-to-Mesa View transmission line. This project was approved as an in-scope project within the JDA signed between AEP and LCRA in July This project is in Crane, Crockett, Pecos, Reagan, Terrell and Upton counties and is scheduled for completion by January Santa Anna-to-Bangs 138 kv Project: This project will add seven miles of new 138 kv transmission line. Project planning and engineering activities are currently in progress. This project was approved at the September 2002 LCRA TSC Board meeting, and the project agreement was signed in December This project is in Coleman County and is scheduled for completion by December LCRA Transmission Services Corporation Board Agenda - April 2004

3 Page 40 of 54 Twin Buttes 138 kv Loop Circuit Project: This project Will construct a 10-mile 138 kv transmission line to cut-in the Twin Buttes Switch Station to the Big Lake-to-San Angelo Power Station (SAPS) transmission line, which will be referred to as Twin Buttes cut-in-to-twin Buttes. This project also includes a rebuild of the existing Big-Lake-to-SAPS transmission line fiom the cutin to San Angelo Power Station with one bundled 795 Aluminum Conductor-Steel Reinforced (ACSR) circuit, which will be referred to as Twin Buttes Cut-In-to-SAPS. Construction and procurement activities are in progress. The CCN was approved in September This project was approved as an in-scope project within the JDA signed between AEP and LCRA in July 2001, This project is in Tom Green County and is scheduled for completion by August ONCOR Rio Pecos Line Upgrade Project: This project rebuilds two 138 kv transmission lines totaling 59 miles and upgrades a 34-mile transmission line fiom 69 kv to 138 kv. This project was approved at the October 2001 LCRA Board meeting. Transfer of the existing transmission lines fiom Oncor to the LCRA TSC has been approved by the PUC. This project is located in Crane, Upton, Ector and Midland counties. The final portion of this project, the Odessa-to-Crane transmission line, is complete and available for operations. East Region Projects Austin County Peters Tie Relocation Project: This project relocated the 138 kv transmission tie-line equipment between LCRA TSC and Centerpoint from the LCRA s Peters Substation to Centerpoint s Substation. The only remaining work is to demolish the control house and other structures. This project was recommended in the FY Transmission System Improvement Plan (TSIP) and is scheduled for completion by June Bellville South-to-Peters Transmission Line Upgrade Project: This project consists of reconductoring the 8.6-mile transmission line from 795 ACSR to 959 Aluminum Conductor-Steel Supported (ACSS) and converting the high-side bus at the Bellville South Substation to a breaker and a half configuration. Phase two of the transmission line work is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Quanex Power Transformer Upgrade Project: This project will upgrade the capacity of the power transformer at the Quanex Substation fiom megavolt-ampere (MVA) to 22.4 WA. Construction is in progress. The project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Austin and Washington Counties Salem-to-Bellville South (Highway 36) Transmission Line Project: This project will add a new four-terminal Highway 36 Substation near the intersection of the Brenham-to-Brenham North and Salem-to-Bellville South transmission lines. Approximately 25 miles of transmission line between the Brenham, Salem and Bellville South substations will be upgraded. Construction at Brenham North Substation is in progress. Construction of the last portion of transmission line between Brenham Substation and Hwy 36 Substation will begin in April. The Highway 36 Substation, Bellville North Substation, Bellville South Substation, Salem Substation and approximately 22 miles of transmission line are energized. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June The completion of the construction of the Brenham Substation ring bus portion of the project has been moved to February LCRA Transmission Services Corporation Board Agenda - April

4 Page 41 of 54 Bastrop County Red Rock Power Transformer Upgrade Project (Joint Funding with Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative (BBEC)): This project will upgrade the capacity of the power transformer at the Red Rock Substation firom 12.5 WA to 22.4 MVA. Engineering is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by August Dmitt County Yoakum-to-Flatonia Transmission Line Relocation Project: This project will relocate mile of T-134 transmission line, which is located on the Yoakum Independent School District baseball field, to new right of way. Project consent has been obtained and easement acquisition is in progress. This project was an addendum to the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by summer Guadalupe County Hickory Forest-to-New Berlin Transmission Line Addition Project (Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative (GVEC) Funding): This project will build a new transmission line from Hickory Forest Substation to the existing New Berlin Substation and add two circuit breakers at the New Berlin Substation. Engineering is in progress. Interim reviews are held with GVEC. Boundary surveys are in progress for easement acquisition. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and was scheduled for completion June The new scheduled completion date is September This delay is due to issues that developed during the easement acquisition phase of the project. GVEC is in agreement with the new completion date. $FA Circuit Breaker Replacement Project: The remainder of this project will replace circuit breakers at the Fayette Power Project (FPP) and Fayetteville substations. The purpose of replacing these breakers is to reduce sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) emissions. The defective 345 kv insulators at Marion will also be replaced as part of this project in April Engineering is in progress for the circuit breaker replacements at the FPP and Fayetteville substations. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP, revised in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Zorn Autotransformer Replacement Project: This project replaced the failed T2 unit with a temporary autotransformer until a permanent autotransformer can be purchased and installed. Both units will be purchased and installed under this project. Engineering is underway for the permanent autotransformer, and construction is complete on the temporary unit. The procurement of the permanent autotransformer is in progress. This project was approved as an addendum to the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by December Lavaca Comfy Moulton Substation Conversion Project: This project will replace three single-phase power transformers with a three-phase unit. Engineering is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by December Harris and Waller Counties Hockley-to-Macedonia Transmission Line Project: This project will add approximately 12 miles of new 138 kv transmission line. Construction activities are underway. This project was approved as an addendum to the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Macedonia Circuit Breaker Addition Project: This project will add three 138 kv circuit breakers with associated relaying and controls at Macedonia Substation. Construction activities are underway. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June LCRA Transmission Services Corporation Board Agenda - April 2004

5 Page 42 of 54 Washington County Brenham North Power Transformer Addition Project: This project consists of adding a kv, 22.4 MVA transformer and converting the high-side bus to a ring bus configuration. Construction is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Salem Transformer Upgrade Project: This project will upgrade the 345 kv/138 kv transformer at the Salem Substation from 478 MVA to 672 MYA. Engineering is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June West Region Projects Bandera and Medina Counties Medina Lake-to-CPS Anderson Transmission Line Addition Project: This project will upgrade the 7.8-mile Pipe Creek-Medina Lake 1/0 ACSR 69 kv transmission line to 795 ACSR 138 kv and construct a new 795 ACSR 138 kv transmission line (approximately 14 miles) between the Medina Lake and CPS Anderson substations. The CCN process and routing analysis began in September 2003 and is being coordinated with City Public Service of San Antonio. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by the requested inservice date of June Blanc0 and Kendall Counties Kendall-to-Miller Creek Transmission Line Upgrade Project: This project will increase the line-to-ground clearance on the 40.4-mile Kendall-to-Miller Creek 138 kv transmission line as necessary to increase the capacity of the circuit to 128 MVA. Engineering is underway, This project was recommended in the FY TSIP, and is scheduled for completion by June Burnet County Bertram Circuit Breaker Addition Project (PEC Funding): This project will add two circuit breakers at Bertram Substation. Construction is underway. This is a customer requested project, This project was recommended in the FY TSIP, with a revised completion date of June Buchanan-Graphite Mine-Lampasas Transmission Line Upgrade Project: This project will rebuild the 27.5-mile Buchman-Graphite Mine-Lampasas 138 kv transmission line (T-109) from 336 ACSR (128 MVA) to 795 ACSR (220 MVA). In addition, remote terminal units (RTUs) will be installed at the Buchanan, Graphite Mine, and Lampasas substations. Engineering contract negotiations are in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June 2005, This project is in Burnet and Lampasas counties. Burnet Power Transformer Upgrade (Joint Funding with the City of Burnet) : This project will upgrade the capacity of the power transformer (T2) at the Burnet substation from 22.4-MVA to 33.6-MVA. Engineering design and long lead material procurement is underway. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Coma1 and Guadalupe Counties Antler Circuit Breaker Addition Project: This project consists of adding two 138 kv circuit breakers with associated relaying and controls at the Antler Substation. Construction is underway. This project was recornmended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Highway 46 Substation Addition Project (Joint Funding with New Braunfels Utility (NBU)): NBU will construct a new 138 kv in-line distribution substation under LCRA TSC s 138 LCRA Transmlsslon Services Corporation Board Agenda - April 2004 ^* I. u (: 1.1 ;) (1 47

6 Page 43 of 54 kv transmission line (T-237) between Heme and River Oaks substations. As this is an NBU substation, site acquisition was performed by NBU. Site preparation is in progress and is being performed by a contractor to NBU. LCRA TSC's portion of construction is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by spring Marion-to-Coma1 Transmission Line Upgrade Project (Joint Funding with NBU): This project will upgrade a 12-mile section of transmission line from Marion Substation to Coma1 Substation. NBU has awarded the construction of the transmission line to Great Southwestern Construction. Construction is in progress, but completion is dependent upon outage constraints, This project was recommended as an addendum to the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Culberson County Culberson - Kunitz Easement Upgrade Project: This project will renew and amend four existing electric power line easements on the 27.9-mile Culberson-Kunitz 138 kv transmission line. The easement renewal process is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP, and is scheduled for completion by June Gillespie County Gillespie Substation Upgrade Project: This project will upgrade the Gillespie 138 kv single- bus single-breaker configuration to a double-bus double-breaker Configuration. Engineering is underway. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Live Oak-to-Goehmann Lane Project (Joint Funding with Central Texas Electric Cooperative (CTEC)): This project will relocate an autotransformer to improve system reliability in the Fredericksburg area. CTEC is responsible for rebuilding the transmission line, and LCRA TSC is responsible for installing an autotransformer at the Fredericksburg Substation and running fiber between the Live Oak and Goehmann Lane substations. LCRA TSC has completed approximately 80 percent of the work and will complete the remaining 20 percent once CTEC has completed the transmission line, which is scheduled for May This project was recommended in the FY TSIP. Gonzales County Gonzales Power Transformer Upgrade Project: This project will replace an existing kv 22.4 MVA transformer with a kv 33.6 W A unit and convert the high side bus to a ring bus configuration. Engineering is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for Completion by June 2005, Harwood PWT Upgrade Project: This project will replace the single-phase transformer at the Harwood Substation with a three-phase unit. Construction is in progress. The original completion date was March However, a portion of the work has been contracted out, with a revised completion date of June This project was recommended in the FY TSIP. Hays County Buda-to-San Marcos Transmission Line Upgrade Project (Joint Funding with PEC): This project will reroute the Canyon-to-Camp Gary transmission line into the San Marcos Substation; upgrade the Canyon-to-San Marcos transmission line and Canyon Substation to 138 kv; upgrade the Canyon-to-Kyle-to-Centex-to-Buda transmission lines to 138 kv; and modify the Kyle, Centex and Buda substations. Construction is in progress for the first phase of the Canyon-San Marcos transmission line, with a projected completion date of June Construction is underway for the San Marcos substation. Goforth Circuit Breaker Addition Project: This project will add two 138 kv circuit breakers with associated relaying and controls at the Goforth Substation. The two circuit breakers shall have a minimum Interrupting Capability (IC) rating of 31,500 amps and a minimum Continuous Amps (CA) rating of 1,200 amps. Engineering is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for Completion by November Henly Substation Addition Project (Joint Funding with PEC): This project will construct a new distribution substation in the Dripping Springs area. The LCRA TSC portion of the project includes adding low-side metering and an RTU. Engineering is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June McCarty Lane Substation Upgrade Project: This project will add five 138 kv circuit breakers with associated relaying and controls to convert to breaker-and-a-half configuration at the McCarty Lane Substation. Engineering is in progress, This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Rutherford Power Transformer Addition Project (Joint Funding with PEC): This project will add one power transformer at the Rutherford Substation. Engineering is underway and the transformer is scheduled to be energized by June Wimberley Power Transformer Upgrade Project (Joint Funding with PEC): This project wil upgrade the existing power transformers, low side structures, two meter packages and one RTU, along with the associated Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) requirements. Engineering and construction are underway. The second phase of construction for the second power transformer is underway and scheduled for completion by June The final phase of construction is dependent on the construction schedule for PEC s Highway 32-to-Wimberley Transmission Line Upgrade project. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP. Kendall County Comfort-to-Verde Creek Transmission Line Upgrade Project: This project will increase the line to ground clearance on the 13.3-mile Comfort-to-Verde Creek 13 8 kv transmission line to increase the capacity to its full conductor rating of 128 MVA. Construction is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Fair Oaks Ranch Tap Project: This project will construct dead-end structures in the Boerne- Fair Oaks transmission line as necessary to support a 138 kv double circuit-transmission line tap to the City Public Service (CPS) Fair Oaks Ranch Substation. Engineering is in progress. This project was approved in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by December Hil Country Substation Addition Project: The City of Boerne and BEC have identified the need to construct a new distribution substation in the southwest area of Boerne. The proposed Hill Country Substation will be supplied by a new 138 kv transmission line (approximately three to four miles) originating at a tap point on the Cico-CPS Helotes transmission line. The CCN process and routing analysis started in September This project was approved in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Kendall Autotransformer Addition Project: This project will add a second 478 MVA autotransformer, relocated from the Salem Substation to the Kendall Substation. 8 I Page45of54 Kendall-to-CPS Cagnon Road Transmission Line Addition Project (Joint Funding with CPS): This project consists of rebuilding a 22-mile portion of transmission line between the Kendall Substation and the Kendall/Bexar county line (via the Cico Substation) as a 345 kv/138 kv double circuit. At the Kendall/Bexar county line LCRA TSC will connect with CPS, which will own the line back to the Cagnon Road Substation. The Kendall Substation will be upgraded to a 345 kv double bus-double breaker configuration, The CCN application was filed at the PUC on January 30, Currently, potential alternate routes are being investigated that would tie with CPS at the western edge of CPS service territory. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion in June Kendall-to-Kerrville Stadium Transmission Line Upgrade Project: This project will reconductor the 16.7-mile Kendall-to-Kerrville Stadium 13 8 kv transmission line fiom 336 to 795 ACSR. Construction is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Kerr County Ingram Circuit Breaker Addition Project (Joint Funding with Kerrville Public Utility Board P UB) and Bandera Electric Cooperative (BEC)): This project will add a ring bus at the Ingram Substation. Preliminary engineering and land acquisition are in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and has been delayed to FY Raymond F. Barker Substation Addition Project (Joint Funding with KPUB and BEC): This project added a new substation near the Centerpoint Substation, which will be retired. Construction is complete on the Raymond F. Barker substation. The Centerpoint Substation is scheduled for demolition. This project was recommended and approved as an addendum to the FY TSIP as the Willow Bend Substation Project and is scheduled for completion by June Lampasas Counw Lometa PWT Upgrade Project: This project will upgrade the power transformer fiom 7 MVA to 12.5 MVA. Engineering is complete and construction will begin in April This project was recommended in the IT TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Llano Counv Pitsburg Power Transformer Addition Project (Joint funding with CTEC): This project will add a 22.4 MVA power transformer at the Pitsburg Substation. LCRA TSC will convert this station to a ring bus configuration and perform other upgrades including a new control house. Construction is underway. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Horseshoe Bay Circuit Breaker Addition Project This project will acquire additional property, add two 138 kv circuit breakers with associated relaying and controls, and add 138 kv bus potential transformers at the Horseshoe Bay Substation; replace one 138 kv circuit breaker and associated relaying and control equipment and replace the RTU at the Gillespie Substation, and replace one 138 kv circuit breaker and associated relaying and control equipment at the Fergbson Substation. Engineering is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by November Sandy Creek Transmission Line Addition Project: This project will construct a new 336 ACSR 69 kv transmission line approximately three miles from the proposed Sandy Creek Substation to the Sunrise Beach Substation. This project will require the filing of a CCN with the PUC. This project was recommended and approved in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for Completion by June LCRA Transmission Senrices Corporation Board Agenda - April 2004

9 Project No Page 46 of 54 San Saba Counq San Saba Circuit Breaker Addition Project: This project consists of replacing two power transformers with a new 20 MVA load tap changer (LTC) transformer; adding two high-side circuit breakers and building a new control house. Construction is complete, which is ahead of the June 2004 required in-service date, This project was recommended in the FY TSIP. Travis County EMS DAC Expansion Project: This project will expand the Data Accessibility Channels PAC) in the Energy Management System. The DAC allows the monitoring of all LCRA TSC substations. The system was received during March and is being tested. This project was approved at the January 2003 LCRA TSC Board meeting and is scheduled for completion by June Energy Management System Upgrade Project: This project will upgrade the existing Energy Management System from GE Harris W21 Release 2.0 to W21 Release 5.0, which also includes moving from Sybase to Oracle to remove obsolescence and support issues. The XA/2 1 Release 5.O Development System has been delivered to the System Operations and Control Center (SOCC). Warranty to complete and closeout the project is scheduled for March This project was approved in the FY 2003 Business Plan and the system was delivered in March HiCross-to-Marshall Ford Transmission Line Upgrade Project: This three-phase project will upgrade 16.5 miles of the Hicross-to-Marshall Ford 138 kv transmission line from 336 to bundled 795 ACSR. Engineering is in progress on the Barton to Commons Ford portion. Construction is scheduled for the third and final phase of the project. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June Williamson County Georgetown Distribution Project (City of Georgetown Funding): This project will replace distribution breakers at the Georgetown, Gabriel, Glasscock and Chief Brady substations and install new breakers at the Rivery Substation, Engineering is complete. All work at the Georgetown, Gabriel, Rivery and Glasscock substations is complete. Construction at the Chief Brady Substation is underway and expected to be completed by April 30th. Automatic Sectionalizing Phase 1 Substation Upgrade Project: This project consists of installing motor operators, interrupters, switches, A-fiames, new or expanded control buildings, new RTUs, new batteries andor DC panels and new control panels at various substations to provide SCADA- controlled automatic sectionalizing. Installation is in progress. This project was recommended and approved in the FY TSIP. The recommended project completion date is June 2005, This project is located in various counties. Building Additions for District Operations Project: This project will add office and restroom facilities to the Bastrop and Fort Mason substations. Material procurement and steel fabrication is in progress. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP and is scheduled for completion by June This project is located in Bastrop and Mason counties. Capacitor Bank Upgrade Project: This project will upgrade the protective relay system on capacitor banks at six substations. Distance-to-Fault Substation Upgrade Project: The scope for this project shall consist of installing remote distance-to-fault equipment to gather information on 160 LCRA TSC-owned transmission lines. This scope will include installation of Schweitzer Engineering Labs (SEL) equipment to provide distance-to-fault data from the field, archive the data, and make the data available to operations, engineering, and maintenance personnel and includes upgrade of the existing digital recorder master station. Installation is in progress. Obsolete Surge Arrestor Replacement Project: This project will replace obsolete surge arresters at 48 substations. Reactor Bank Circuit Switcher Upgrade Project: This project will upgrade the circuit switchers on reactor banks at the Marion, Fayetteville and Kendall substations. Relay Communication System Upgrades Project: This project will upgrade relay/scada communications at 36 substations. The upgrades to the Fort Mason and Gillespie substations are complete. The remaining substations are located in Mason and Gillespie counties. This project was recommended in the FY TSIP, and is scheduled for completion by December Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Project: This project will evaluate 103 existing substations to develop site specific engineering plm for secondary oil-spill containment. A variety of containment methods will be utilized including concrete moats, catch basins and additional gravel. This project is required to meet amended U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations that require diversionary drainage controls for potential oil spills in substations. Engineering and construction are in progress. This project was approved at the February 2003 LCRA TSC Board meeting and is scheduled for completion by summer This project is located in various counties. Substation Battery and Battery Charger Upgrades Projeck This project will replace obsolete substation batteries and battery chargers at 10 substations and add battery houses to six substations.
