2 Introduction + National Applied Research Laboratories (NARL) was established in June NARL is a non-profit organization comprising of eleven research laboratories. One preparatory office for Typhoon and Flood research. Supervising operations of National S&T Center for Disaster Reduction (NCDR) for NSC. + NARL promotes horizontal integration of existing laboratory resources as well as vertical integration of the nation's R&D systems.
