3 Data Analysis Node DAN JPTM Terms of Reference Data Analysis Node is the Node for the data analysis DPN provide its own satellite data to the DAN Data policy of each DPN is decided by each DPN DAN member shall implement the following tasks; a) Analyze the satellite data provided by DPN b) Make value added product c) Disclose the result through the Sentinel Asia System within the domestic legislation of each DAN permits
4 Principal Data Analysis Node - PDAN - 1. AIT is nominated. 2. Tasks; a) Help the coordination; 1. For Sentinel Asia (-DAN) 2. For IDC as Project Manager b) Develop Value Added Products (Authenticated information Developer)
5 How AIT Carryout a Role of PDAN 1. Identified the Role (Terms of Reference) as the PDAN of Sentinel Asia. 2. Communicate with DPN. Access all possible satellite data and develop data handling/analysis capacity of DAN. 3. Communicate with DAN. Evaluate analysis capacities, status of infrastructure and recognize a POC for data analysis. If necessary, visit each DAN country. 4. Establish a GIS database consisting of physical information and social information, either locally or in a central location (depend on accessibility). 5. Discuss about activities for normal situation (GSMaP, JAXA). 6. Invest on Google map licenses and other software licenses. 7. Identify the fastest method to ground verification during product generation with the coordination of DANs and POCs in each country. 8. Establish a special unit at AIT; communicating, analyzing, product generation and reporting (Identify financial resources). 9. All products will be validated and certified. 10. Develop the DAN network (JAXA-AIT mini-project, etc).
