The strength of newsweb 6.5 lies in particular in the optimal management of different sources and output formats combined with a high degree of layout flexibility. We have paid special attention to the specific requirements of media monitoring service providers: By separating the press review compilation (client) from the technical production (server), time and personnel costs will be saved. Using the selection box on the upper left you concentrate the view on the articles to be mounted on a daily basis. Useful selection criteria is the creation date, however, anytime you can also select by source, source date, category, keyword, author, etc.. The articles appear in a table containing information on category, date, source, title and all other existing fields. Field contents can here also be changed subsequently, also selection from lists is supported. If required, you can also view each article directly. Now you can make changes, e.g. regarding the desired order. Finetuning Before producing the final press review, you can optimize the documents via newscomposer. Here you change the sequence, highlight keywords, scale and position images, insert comments, shorten and format texts and paragraphs. The newscomposer enables the final finetuning. FTP-upload and e- mail distribution further automate the production process. The largely automated creation of reports for copyright fees ensures a legally secured procedure.
