3 Introduction: Welcome to the Follow Up Master Plan. My name is Dr Ben Adkins and over the last year I have built an 7 Figure per year business on the back of very thoughtful and strategic marketing. Along the way I ve done a lot of really dumb things with my marketing but because of those things I ve been able to lock down exactly how to talk to my subscribers (across multiple industries and niches) and get them to take action on my s. The concept behind this course is simple. I am going to give you several templates that fit specific situations which you can use in your own marketing. For each sequence I have created a short walkthrough video that explain how each sequence works as well as the psychology behind each part of the s. This is a resource that you can use in your marketing for years to come. 5 Chapter 1: The Facebook Niche Page Sequence (see attached video walkthrough inside the members area)
6 Chapter 1: The Facebook Niche Page Sequence The following is a sequence that we use on several of our Facebook pages to bond with our brand new subscribers and get them ready to take action on any campaign that we send out. It s important to note that when we bring a subscriber over from a Facebook page, they aren t usually what we would refer to as cold traffic. Typically there is a level of trust already attached to the branding of the Facebook page. We use that initial branding to our advantage by mentioning it in the following sequence. The key here is to take it from a page brand and then start attaching that page brand to a personal mascot. The personal mascot is a fictitious character (pen name) that we have created which closely matches the demographics of the people who like our Facebook fan page. The goal is to humanize our fan page brand and give people who are getting the s a person to latch on to and to put trust in. In the following example sequence you can see how we do this. Goal of the Sequence: Get the new signup to take small actions leading up to a low ticket purchase. After the low ticket purchase you should start sneaking in higher ticket items to those buyers. For everyone who doesn t purchase you need to continue to work on getting them to make a small purchase.
7 Message 1: They receive this as soon as they optin along with any item they opted in for. This message is all about delivering what you promised and introducing your Pen Name. Subject: Variation 1: Your Specific Name Download Variation 2: Welcome to the Specific Name Club Body: Hey! My name is PEN NAME and I run the FB PAGE NAME Facebook Page. The NAME OF THE FREE THING that you just signed up for can be accessed using the link below. > INSERT LINK HERE Also if you ever have any questions about anything regarding NICHE THAT FB PAGE COVERS feel free to jump over to the FB PAGE NAME (LINK) and click on the Message button on the top right of the page. 8 Message 2: They receive this the day after the first message hits. This message is all about making you and I more about us. Subject: Variation 1: I thought of you when I saw this. Variation 2: This is us!!! Body: Hey! PEN NAME here. I hope you had a chance to dive into the NAME OF THE FREE THING FROM DAY 1 that you got yesterday. One of my favorite parts about that is MENTION SOMETHING SPECIFIC (page number, video timeline, etc). Today I was browsing the FB PAGE NAME and someone sent me this article about NICHE THAT FB PAGE COVERS. It made me laugh and I thought that you would like it too. There aren t many folks in the world that get this like we do but I knew you d like it. LINK TO THE THING. Talk to you soon! PEN NAME FB NICHE PAGE NAME (LINK)
9 Message 3: They receive this 2-3 days after message 2. This message is all about getting them to actually buy something. (small price item) Subject: Variation 1: I bought this and you should too. Variation 2: I caught this on sale (woohoo!) Body: Hey! PEN NAME here. I don t want to take up too much of your time but I saw this on sale and I picked it up and I thought you d really be into it to. DESCRIBE THE THING. DESCRIBE THE TOP BENEFIT OF THE THING. It s on sale right here for the next 2 days only: LINK HERE. Just looking out for you! Hope you love it as much as I did! PEN NAME FB NICHE PAGE NAME (LINK)
10 Message 4: This message goes out 2-3 days after message 3. This message is designed to give them a cool tip with a but this makes it easier solution that they can buy. Subject: Variation 1: How to COOL TIP DESCRIPTION Variation 2: 7 Steps to COOL TIP DESCRIPTION Body: Hey! PEN NAME HERE. Over the last few week s I ve been getting a ton of questions over at the FB NICHE PAGE NAME Facebook page about how to INSERT DESIRED OUTCOME. Today I wanted to walk you through how to do that. Below are the 7 Steps to COOL TIP DESCRIPTION LIST STEPS HERE (Use a numbered List) 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7)

14 Chapter 2: Offline Business Conversion Sequence The Offline Business Conversion Sequence is an sequence that I wrote back when I was working as a full time Chiropractor to convert people that opted in for a freebie into customers that would, not only come into the business for the free thing, but customers that would spend money with the business for a long time after. Please Note: This sequence involves more than just an follow up. This sequence actually extends into the offline business doing some very special things on their end. I ll talk about that after we go through the sequence. Goal of the Sequence: Make an irresistible offer in order to get potential clients to optin to an list. After we do that we do some very special things inside the business to convert them from a freebie seeker to a person that will spend money with the business for years to come.

About 24 hours ago you signed up for a free INSERT THING from us and we haven t heard from you yet about reserving it for you. 17 Message 3: This is sent approximately 48 hours after message 2 (skip one day in between). This message is all taking the scarcity up a notch again. Subject: Variation 1: 24 Hours Left (Call Now) Variation 2: Time is Running Out Body: Hello! BUSINESS OWNER NAME here again from BUINSESS NAME. In just under 24 hours we re going to be giving your spot away on the INSERT THING that you claimed for free from our office. We d love to hold it for you forever but the demand is forcing us to give these away to those that are calling to claim them. You only have 24 Hours Left before we have to give your INSERT THING away to the next person in line. Call us and let us know! CALL TRACKING NUMBER Don t wait another day. 18 Message 4: This is sent approximately 24 hours after message 3. This message is all taking the scarcity up a notch again and giving them one last chance to claim their freebie. 19 The Following Sequence is what you do once the person actually claims the offer and comes into your business (watch the Video to hear Ben Explain this in Detail.
20 Chapter 3: The Stale List Reactivation Sequence (see attached video walkthrough inside the members area)
21 Chapter 3: The Stale List Reactivation Sequence The Stale List Reactivation Sequence is exactly what it sounds like. We could be writing these folks for a few reasons. The first reason being because they are an inactive part of a list that we ve been actively mailing. The second reason is because we ve slipped up and not mailed them in a long time. Both situations require a different approach so we ll be covering both here. Goal of the Sequence: No matter the reason that they haven t opened an from us in a while, we are actively trying to get them back.
22 Stale List Part 1: Inactive Folks on an Active List Make No Mistakes. This is an aggressive set of s. These folks are not paying attention to us and being passive when we try to talk to them isn t going to work. We have to get in their minds and really push to get back in their good graces. This is a hard segment to reach and it s not easy. If we can pull a small percentage of these folks back, we re happy. NOTE: Make sure you segment this part of your list from the rest of your list before you send this out. You can find links to instructions from the major auto responders on how to do this segment below the actual video in the Follow Up Master Plan Members area.
23 Message 1: This message is to get them to open up and take an easy action to let us know they re still around. Subject: Variation 1: Was it Something That I Said?!? Variation 2: Are you Still There? (last chance) Body: Hey PEN NAME here and thanks for opening! PLEASE NOTE: I need you to read this entire message and take the Bribe at the End :) I was up late last night and was checking our newsletter stats and realized that you hadn't opened an from me since December 1 of Now this has happened for a few reasons: (and here's how to fix each situation) Possibility #1: You've just gotten tired of hearing from me. I hope that isn't the case but if so... no worries... I don't want to keep clogging up your inbox with something that you don't want so please know that if our system doesn't see you opening anything from us I'm going to do us both a favor and pull you off the list. Solution #1: If you're seeing this then you should be safe!

This can happen for a few reasons but its usually because you haven't enabled images in your s (which is how "opens" are primarily tracked.) Solution #3: Move this message to your primary inbox or folder. (that'll show them!) I'll be sending a few more s in the next few days. 27 Stale List Part 2: A List You Let Go I m especially excited about this section because I m about to make you a ton of extra money with a few simple s. This is extremely simple but most people think that if they haven t ed their list in a while that the list will no longer be responsive. While there is a little bit of truth to that, you can still do really well with a list that you ve neglected to mail for a long period of time. This technique involves one warm up as well as our 5 Part Sequence (which you can find in the bonus section of the main members area).
28 Message 1: Send this anytime but always follow it up with your 5 Part Sequence. The goal of this message is to wake them up and to let them know something big is coming. The answer to that is simple. I m the kind of person that only likes to you when I ve got something that I think is going to blow you away. This could apply to people doing solo ads, offline businesses that take addresses at Trade shows, etc. This sequence has some very sneaky (but ethical) psychological triggers that cause the prospect to immediately see the value in following you past the initial freebie based interaction. This setup helps you convert these folks into actual buyers by bonding quickly. Goal of the Sequence: Bond quickly with a freebie seeker so that you can turn them into a paying customer and monetize them so you can recoup your lead generation investment as well as come out ahead on the relationship very quickly (while still giving them major value).
32 Message 1: This is sent immediately after the first optin. The goal of this is to deliver the freebie and to introduce the PEN NAME or LIST OWNER. This is a Time Limited Scarcity Based Sequence that is highly effective with a list that has been prewarmed (what you ve been doing in the last few s. (you can access this from the Bonus Section of the Members area). Message 4 usually represents the Pr part of that sequence. We do this to really start testing the buyers from the sitters. We want to move the buyers into deeper Buyers List quickly In the next Chapter I ll explain how you cultivate and bond with buyers even further.
37 Chapter 5: Buyer s List Breakout Sequence (see attached video walkthrough inside the members area)
38 Chapter 5: Buyer s List Breakout Sequence The Buyer s List Breakout is an incredibly simple sequence but it does a ton to make sure that your buyer loves you. In this section I m going to suggest that you go above and beyond to deliver a ton of extra value to your buyer. This is the secret to having a ton of folks on your list that become repeat buyers. Goal of the Sequence: Reinforce the original buying decision by showcasing the high points of the product that they purchased. At the same time we are going to be delivering some hidden value that they weren t expecting. (this is why they ll buy from you over and over again. We are anchoring a wow to buying from you). Please Note: You Need 5 Pieces of Really Cool Content to Make this one rock it. Also note that all of these s are typically with the FROM as the name of the Product. We want to transfer authority from the product to the product author even more in this sequence.
39 Message 1: This message is sent 24 Hours after the person buys into your product (this is assuming that your payment platform is sending them an access instructions ) The goal of this is to give them an important detail about the product they bought the day before as well as deliver on their first unadvertised bonus. Subject: Variation 1: Unadvertised Bonus (save this ) Variation 2: Extra For PRODUCT NAME Members Body: Hey [NAME], PEN NAME here and today I ve got a couple of things for you because you invested in PRODUCT NAME.
