1 Group Leader Toolbox MANUAL FOR GROUP LEADERS The Group Leader Toolbox is an online tool where Group Leaders can process group inquiries (Prospective Members), manage group member information, and communicate with their Group. Accessing the Toolbox 1) Navigate to the Group Finder page on our CF website gochristfellowship.com/groups and click on the link Get Group Leader Resources found at the bottom of the page. 2) Log into the CF website using the Arena user name and password that was ed to you. 3) After logging in, you will be taken to a page listing all the Groups you lead. At the bottom of this page is a link to other Leader Resources. February

2 4) Click on the name of the Group to open the information for that Group. Processing Inquiries for Your Group 1. When an individual inquires about joining your Group through our CF website, you will receive an with the individual s address and the person will be automatically added to the Member List for your Group as a Prospective Member. February

3 2. You can obtain additional contact information for a Prospective Member by accessing the Toolbox. Simply click on the person s name and you will be able to view additional information for them including their phone number. 3. After you have connected with the person, you can either, add the person to your Group by changing their Group role from Prospective Member to Group Member, or designate the person as inactive if they do not wish to join your group. 4. To add the Prospective Member to your Group, click the Edit button at the bottom of the additional information box, to be taken to the Edit Page. From the Role drop down select Group Member and click the Save button and the person will be added as a member of your Group. 5. To designate the person as an inactive Prospective Member from your active member list, use the Edit button and once on the Edit Page, add a date to the Date Inactive field (the date that you are changing their status) the person can then be removed from your active member list by your Group Leader Coach. Editing Group Member Information Click on the Member s Name and then the Edit button on the bottom of the additional information section. You can edit the person s Role or make them inactive (i.e., if they leave your Group). If you have additional changes, please that information directly from the Toolbox to your Group Coach. February

4 Adding Group Members You can also add a member who has not made an inquiry to your group through the CF website. To add a member directly, click the New Member button at the bottom of the Member List. This will open the Add Member screen. Complete as much of the requested information as you can and then click the Add Member button and the person will be added to your Member List. Note: If any changes need to be made to the Group member information, you will need to the Group Coach or Campus Hub Leader with the changes to be made. February

If you do not wish to all your members, you may remove them by clicking the X next to their name in the list. 2) If you would like to use the CF Logo template, click the Template drop down and select Basic CF w Logo. 3) The From field will default to you, the From will default to your and the Reply To will default to your address. The From and Reply To fields can be changed. Enter a Subject for your . You can also add attachments to your . 4) You can personalize to your to each recipient by following the instructions in the Merge Field blue box. 5) When you have finished your communication, click the Send Button February

6 Editing Group Details To view the information we have on file for your Group, click on the Group Details button. If you should need to make any changes to your Group Details, please that information directly from the Toolbox to your Group Coach. Logging Out When you have finished using the Toolbox, always be sure to log out by clicking the Logout link next to your name at the top of any page. February
