2 Communication Changes at the Fromm Institute WE WANT YOUR In an effort to be more green, the Fromm Institute is moving to an electronic form of delivery ( ) for a variety of publications. That includes the Newsletter, class handouts, notifications of canceled classes, and important office communications. If you have an address please let the office know and we can add it to our list. Remember to add fromm@usfca.edu to your contacts so our communications don t end up in the Spam or Junk boxes.

3 THE FROMM INSTITUTE STUDENT ASSOCIATION F.I.S.A. PRESENTS PERFORMING ARTS Q & A WITH BOB MORGAN Thursday, Sept. 20, at Noon, Performing Arts Representative, Robert Morgan will answer any and all your questions regarding discount tickets to your favorite Bay Area arts organizations.

4 Have you Missed A Week & Want A Handout? Go to the Fromm Institute Website for Printing Out Course Materials. Handouts and class materials are produced in hard copy form, only once. If handouts run out, and you ve missed that week, you can go to the Fromm Institute website, fromm.usfca.edu and click on Course Materials. Classes are listed by day, then by professor. Download the file or print out a copy. The Course Materials page is updated once a week, on Friday afternoons.

5 FROMM INSTITUTE STUDENT ASSOCIATION PRESENTS MATINÉE HENRY JAMES S THE AMBASSADORS - showcasing films related to & following Prof. Zimmerman s class. 1ST FEATURE: THE INNOCENTS (1961) to be screened ON MON. OCT. 3 P.M. in the MARASCHI ROOM. A psychological thriller based on Henry James s novella, The Turn of the Screw. 2ND FEATURE: THE GOLDEN BOWL (2000) to be screened ON MON. OCT. 3 P.M. in the MARASCHI ROOM. Dramatization of Henry James's novel, a period piece circa 1900's produced with Merchant Ivory panache. A flyer is located at the Student Association Desk in the Maraschi Hallway.

6 THE ATRIUM CAFE IS OPEN! From 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. the Atrium Cafe in Gleeson Library will serve coffee, snacks and quick lunch bites Monday through Thursday. Stop by for a cup of coffee, a muffin, a sandwich or a cup of soup and remember, to enter the library you must swipe your USF-Fromm ID card at the entrance gates.

12 HOLIDAYS THIS SESSION Next Wednesday, Sept. 19th is Yom Kippur. Classes will not be held. On Monday, Oct. 8th is Indigenous Peoples Day - the office is closed and classes are canceled.
