4 What is Sapling Learning? Sapling Learning is an online homework tool that will help you learn and understand your course content.

5 How can you get into Sapling Learning? Option 1: Enter an access code that you already bought. Option 2: Check out Sapling with a grace period, and pay later.

6 Create an account 1. Go to 2. Click Canada Higher Ed. 3. Click Create an Account. 4a. If you have a Facebook account, you can use it to quickly create a Sapling Learning account. Click Create my account through Facebook. Choose a username and password, then click Link Account. 4b. Otherwise, supply the requested information and click Create My Account. Check your (and spam filter) for a message from Sapling Learning.

7 Register for the course 1. Log in.

8 Register for the course 2. Look for the gray bar entitled Enroll in a new course. 3. Click on your subject to expand the menu. 4. Click on the term to expand the menu further. 5. Once the menus are fully expanded, you ll see a link to Brock University PHYS 1P21/1P91 Fall16 D AGOSTINO Click the course link (not one of the professor names).

9 Register for the course 6. Register for trial access if you wish. When your trial access expires, or now if you wish, pay for access using an Access Card Code (link) purchased at your bookstore. Register With Access Card Trial Access

14 What is FlipIt? FlipIt is an online course space that includes: Engaging multimedia Opportunities to communicate to your instructor Spaces to practice what you ve learned

15 How do you get into FlipIt? 1. Go to and click Student in the Get access to FlipIt box 2. Complete the Account Creation Page and click Register

16 How do you get into FlipIt? 3. You ll receive an with a link to continue your registration and create a password 4. Set up your Profile and click Save

17 So how do you get into FlipIt? 5. Choose the Enrollments tab and click Join a Course

18 So how do you get into FlipIt? 6. Enter your Course Access Key 0c68fda1 and click Get Course 7. When prompted, enter your Student ID and click Enroll in Course

19 So how can you get into FlipIt? Congratulations! You are now enrolled in your course! You will be given 21 days to access FlipIt before having to purchase access or redeem an access code. This will provide you with a grace period should you opt to drop the course.

20 Redeeming Access? If you purchased access through the bookstore, select REDEEM on your account page and enter the code found in the card.

23 Setting up REEF: REEF Web IMPORTANT: Only create and use one REEF account. Creating multiple accounts may result in the loss of grade points. Go to If you've used REEF before, login. If you are new to REEF, click on the "Create a New Account" link.

24 Setting up REEF: REEF mobile app If you want to use your mobile device to vote, you can download the mobile app from the Apple or Google app stores.

25 Setting up REEF: Create a New Account Select your institution, then enter your information. Please use your university and your student ID.

27 Setting up REEF: Sign In. Sign in by entering your Brock address, not your Student ID.

31 Setting up REEF: Check your Courses list Our course should be added to your Courses list.

32 Setting up REEF: Join the poll When our class is in session, hit the Join button to participate in the poll.

34 Setting up REEF: Subscription Expired After 14 days, your free trial will expire and you'll need to purchase an access code from your bookstore.
