We pledge to ensure you have a memorable experience here in Wichita Falls. At this point all plans are tentative, and changes are inevitable. Hopefully, we can keep them to a minimum. Please furnish this letter, and the information included with it, to your current Divan, Past Potentates, and past and present TSA and Imperial Officers for their information and convenience and to anyone else that you feel could benefit, i.e., Housing Chairman, Unit Heads, etc. An $80 registration fee must be paid for each Noble attending TSA. A non-refundable advance registration fee of $1,500 is due from each temple no later than March 15, 2019, together with the elected Divan photos. Please send the check to Maskat Shriners (Attn: John Tunnell), 5101 Henry S. Grace Freeway, Wichita Falls TX The $1,500 will be applied to the total amount of registration fees, and each Temple will be invoiced for the balance (if any). There is a 5-page questionnaire included. If you would rather have an electronic copy that you can complete on the computer, send an to adminasst@maskatshrine.com and we will send it to you. We realize the information requested may be difficult to obtain, but we ask that you give us your best estimate so we can proceed with our planning. 2 The theme of this year s TSA is Walking Through History, and we will be spotlighting the 13 Texas Temples and 85 years of the Texas Shrine Association. We plan to do this with some unique displays. One of our primary displays will be pictures of the original (or as close to it as we can get) Texas Temples. These pictures must come from each Temple. We would also like to display pictures of early Unit competitions, early Divans, activities at the different Shrine centers, anything of interest or historical value--just send them to us. The Texas Shrine Association has a long and proud history and we want to show it off! Thanks for your help with this special project. This will be a time-consuming project; therefore, we need these pictures and information as soon as you can provide them so we can get started. To be included in the project, pictures must be received no later than March 15, Temples can provide either digital files or hard-paper copies. See paragraphs below for instructions: (1) If you have a digital picture file of your original Temple, please it to MaskatPrinter@aol.com along with any information you have about the picture. If you need to scan a picture, please use a high resolution and the file to us. (2) If you prefer that we scan your pictures, you can bring them to Divan MidWinter and give to any member of our Divan or mail them to Maskat Shrine, 5101 Henry S. Grace Freeway, Wichita Falls TX We will scan the pictures and either mail them back to you or return them to you at TSA in June. Please include instructions as to how you want them returned. 3 TSA 2019 INFORMATION SHEET (SUBJECT TO CHANGE) TIME AND PLACE: The 2019 Texas Shrine Association Ceremonial (TSA 2019) will be held in Wichita Falls, Texas, June 5-8, There will be Counterparts Dinners for Divan, Past Potentates, and Imperial Dignitaries on June 5, from 6-9 PM at Maskat Temple. HOST AND DIRECTOR GENERAL: TSA President: Steve Harris Director General: Bruce Urban PP Maskat Shrine Potentate Phone: Phone: HEADQUARTERS & CONTACT: TSA 2019 Headquarters will be at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, Wichita Falls, Texas. Prior to registration the headquarters will be: Maskat Shrine Temple Phone: Henry Grace Freeway FAX: Wichita Falls TX, REGISTRATION: Each Noble must complete the registration form and provide to Maskat Shrine as soon as possible through his home Temple. Instructions are on the form. Nobles not pre-registered for TSA 2019 will register at Headquarters Hotel on Wednesday afternoon from 1-5 PM. On Thursday, registration will be in the MPEC Lobby. COST OF REGISTRATION: All Nobles must register to be eligible to participate in scheduled TSA 2019 events. Your registration badge will be your admission to most events. The registration fee is $80.00 per Noble (accompanied or unaccompanied). Badges will be worn at all events. Any competitor without a registration badge will be ineligible for competition, Host Hotel hospitality, or TSA meals.. HOUSING: Housing Director is Past Potentate Charles Dean. He will be happy to assist your Temple with lodging. His phone number is UNIT COMPETITIONS: Nothing can be finalized until all Shrine Temples have submitted their information. A tentative schedule will be sent to each Shrine prior to TSA Golf and shotgun competitions will start Thursday, June 6. All other competitions will be Friday, June 7. All units competitions except golf, shotgun and pistols will be held at the Wichita Falls Multi Purpose Events Center [MPEC] auditorium. The J. S. Bridwell Ag Barn in the same complex will host the Horse Patrol Competition. JUDGES, CAPTAINS, & HEADS OF COMPETING UNITS: ALL PARTICIPATING NOBLES must be registered and have their badges in their possession. Mandatory meeting will be held in the MPEC at 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 6. 1 (Tentative January 21, 2019)

4 GENERAL OFFICIAL OPENING CEREMONY: Thursday, June 6, at 12:30 pm in the MPEC. AWARDS PRESENTATION AND CLOSING CEREMONY: All awards will be presented during the Nobility and Ladies Lunch at the MPEC on Saturday, June 8. TROPHIES: TSA does not pay for trophies! Trophies will be procured by TSA and charged to the various State Unit Associations. Each unit will receive an invoice from TSA. The deadline for requesting trophies is March 31. All Association Heads will report to him. Hopefully, we will have a Competition Schedule that will accommodate everyone. PARADE MARSHAL S MEETING: Mandatory Parade Marshals Meeting will be held at the MPEC at 4:00 pm, Thursday, June 6. Please have your Parade Marshal or his representative meet with TSA Parade Marshal Joey Viavattene. PARADE: Parade formation begins at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 8, and will commence promptly at 10:00 am. Order of March will be in accordance with Shriners International Protocol and TSA bylaws. Joe Viavattene will assist you with parade arrangements and explain the format at the Parade Marshal s Meeting. The formation location and route of the parade will be explained at the meeting. 5 NOBILITY AND LADIES LUNCHEON AND AWARDS PRESENTATION: A Nobility and Ladies Luncheon will be held Saturday, June 8, following the parade. Two tickets will be included in the Nobility Registration price and will be in your packet. Additional tickets are $10.00 each. Tickets will be collected at the head of the serving lines. All Nobles must be registered and have badges in their possession to participate. Dress is casual. STATE UNIT BREAKFASTS: State Unit Associations may hold breakfasts either Friday or Saturday. If you want this information included in the Official Program, send the time and place by March 15 to: Maskat Shriners TSA Program 5101 Henry S. Grace Frwy. Wichita Falls TX MARKETPLACE: The TSA Marketplace will be located in the MPEC. Please check the Official Program for time and location. 6 VIP Specific Information PHOTOGRAPHS: See Questionnaire for information. Deadline is March 15. OFFICIAL BRUNCH: There will be a brunch for TSA Officers, Imperial Divan, Past Imperial Divan, Past Potentates, Texas Divans, Distinguished and Invited Guests, and their Ladies from 9:00 to 11:00 am Thursday, June 6 at MPEC Hall A. TSA VIP BANQUET: The Official Reception and Banquet (with entertainment by Comedian Cowboy Bill Martin) will be Thursday June 6. The Banquet is for TSA Officers, Past TSA Presidents, Imperial Divan, Past Imperial Divan, Past Potentates, Texas Divans, Distinguished and Invited Guests and their Ladies at the Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall, in the Wichita Falls MPEC. Social Hour, with a cash bar, will begin at 6:00 pm. Introductions will begin at 7:00 pm, followed by Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance, and remarks by guest speakers. TSA Officers, Past and Present Imperial Officers, Past TSA Presidents, Current Potentates, and their Ladies are requested to begin lineup for presentations at 6:30 pm and be in formation at 6:45 pm. Price and Deadline VIP Banquet: Each Banquet Ticket includes a brunch ticket. The thirteen Texas Temples have agreed to pay for 20 tickets at $75.00 per ticket. Payment of $1, is due by April 15. Additional Banquet tickets may be purchased for $50.00 each. The extra tickets should be ordered and paid for with the required 20 tickets if possible. If you want a ticket for a person not on the brunch list to attend the brunch and not the banquet, that person may purchase a Brunch ticket for $ Should you require extra tickets, please send payment when you remit the $1, VIP COME-AND-GO LUNCHEON: On Friday, June 7 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, there will be a come-and-go Divan and VIP luncheon in the MPEC.
