2 Registration for on-line access to Xafinity SIPP Centre This form allows for registration of users of the Xafinity SIPP website at and who s firm (firm principal if an appointed representative) has already submitted our Intermediary Agreement. Please copy this form to add additional or new users (including appointed representatives) in the future. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ADVISER FIRM, OR FIRM PRINCIPAL IF USER IS AN APPOINTED REPRESENTATIVE, AUTHORITY MUST BE OBTAINED AS IT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT ALL THE USERS IT AUTHORISES TO USE THE XAFINITY SIPP WEBSITE WILL COMPLY WITH THE TERMS OF THE EXISTING INTERMEDIARY AGREEMENT. The Firm Principal can view all details of all clients of the Firm. The Firm Principal and Security Administrator can specify which clients details each of the other users can view. 3 2. The Individual Access users only have access to the SIPP information which the Firm Principal or a Security Administrator allocates to them. 3. The Security Administrators can allocate a SIPP to Individual Access users, but can t access any SIPP specific details. Data Protection notice to users You consent to Xafinity using the personal data contained in this application form (including any such personal data processed in the course of your relationship with Xafinity) for the purposes of sending you or your Firm information about Xafinity products and services which Xafinity believe will be of interest to you and to sharing your data with other Xafinity companies for this purpose. 4 Accessing the Xafinity SIPP Centre You can manage your client s SIPP online through the Xafinity SIPP Centre. When you complete the registration form we ll set up your access. Alternatively, contact your Xafinity SIPP Consultant to arrange access and you can then complete the registration process as shown below. Your activation When we set up your SIPP Centre Account, an e- mail is automatically generated and sent to the e- mail address you provided us with. This will: be from SIPPTeam@xafinity.com and will be entitled Details for your SIPP Centre logon account ; contain a link for you to follow to activate your accounts; and include an Activation Password (which will be a series of characters). Activating your account Firstly, click on the link in the . This ll take you to the Account Activation screen on SIPP Centre. Secondly, complete your: address: please use the address to which we sent the activation . This is the address you gave on the New Member Application form. Activation Password: Enter the password provided in the activation . Only include the 14 characters provided. If you copy and paste this from the activation , please check there are no spaces before or after the password (as these will count as extra characters). Next, enter your memorable security details you ll need these every time you logon: New Password: A minimum of six characters. This can be a mixture of letters, numbers or symbols. Please note your password is case sensitive. Making Sense of Pensions 4 New Password (Repeat): Re-enter your new password as entered above. The red text saying passwords do not match will disappear once you have done this if they do match. Mother s maiden name: (not case sensitive). Enter a memorable date: This can be in any format you wish i.e. DD/MM/YY, 1 January, DD/MM or just YYYY. This is not case sensitive. Make a note of the format you choose, as this must be same every time you log-in. Enter a memorable location: (not case sensitive). Finally, click Activate and a message will appear confirming that activation has been successful. My activation password doesn t work! Check this is only 14 digits long and the final. isn t included. If this still doesn t solve your problem, try using the Reset option from the menu bar on the SIPP Centre Home page to reset your account and generate a new activation e- mail with a fresh activation password. There s a problem with my memorable date The date might be correct, but may be in a different date format to that used when you activated your account. For example if you activated your account with a date in the format 01/01/2010 (i.e. DD/MM/YYYY), the system will not recognise any other formats (such as 1/1/10, 01/01/10 or 1 January 2010). I ve forgotten my password /security answers From the SIPP Centre home page click on Reset. Enter your Account Address and click Reset.
5 This generates a fresh Activation . Please now follow the above Activating your SIPP Centre Account instructions. You can also call us on My account s been suspended If your account has been suspended due to more than three incorrect login attempts, please contact your Xafinity SIPP Consultant who can reenable your account for you. Are investment values up to date? The values shown in the bank account section are up-to-date (as shown in the Date column) because we have a direct feed with Royal Bank of Scotland so these are updated daily. Any other assets held in the SIPP must have the values manually updated on our system so what you see is the most up-to-date value we ve been given and the date this was confirmed. How do I access my client s details? There are three levels of access for advisers: Where can I go for help? If you still can t activate your SIPP Centre account, or have any other questions or problems we can help you with, please contact your Xafinity SIPP Consultant. Firm Principal: The Firm Principal has access to all SIPP member information for all SIPPs submitted to Xafinity by your firm. It s the Firm Principal s responsibility to allocate access to specific SIPP Member records to all Individual Users. Access to specific SIPP Member records will not be possible for Individual Users if the Firm Principal has not granted it. There can be only one Firm Principal per financial adviser firm. Individual Access: Access to all SIPP member information, but only for those SIPP members which the Firm Principal allocates to them. There can be as many Individual Access users as is needed. Security Administrator: Can allocate specific SIPP member records to Individual Users but can t access SIPP member specific details. Making Sense of Pensions 5
