1 Getting Started with the LXRPlugin Step 1) To get started using the LXRPlugin Tool, open an Excel Workbook and click LXRPlugin on the top right. 1

2 Manage Accounts Step 1) Click on Manage Accounts to get started. 2

3 Step 2) You can find the license key in your registered id. 3

4 Step 3) You will have the option to choose analysis type. In this instance, click on Select Analysis Type. Step 4) This will take you to your Google AdWords+Analytics log in menu. 4

5 Step 5) You will have the option to choose analysis type. In this instance, click on Select Analysis Type. 5

6 Step 6) Fill in the appropriate and password associated with your Google AdWords account and click Sign In. 6

7 Step 7) Google will ask you if you would like to allow the LXRPlugin Tool to have access to your Google AdWords account. In this instance, please click Allow. Step 8) Once you re able to login successfully, you will see this menu. Please click Proceed to continue. 7

8 Generating A New Standard Report Step 1) Click on New Report to begin. 8

9 Step 2) Click on Standard Reports to bring up the Standard Reports menu. 9

10 Step 3) Choose the Report Type that you wish to use. In this instance, we have selected the Keyword Performance report. Under Campaigns and Ad Groups you can choose from Only Enabled Campaigns and Ad Groups or Customized Selection. In this instance, we have selected Only Enabled Campaigns and Ad Groups. Under Column you can select from Default Columns for Report or Customized Columns. In this instance, we have selected Default Columns for Report. Under Date Range you can select your desired or custom date range. In this instance, we have selected Today. Under Compare With you can select your desired date range or a customized date range. Step 4) You can customize any of the Standard Reports. Under Campaigns and AdGroups click Edit and this menu will appear. With this option, you can choose which campaigns and ad groups you would like to select for your report. Then select Save. 10

11 Step 5) You can use the search bar in the pop up window to search for a specific campaign or ad group. Once you have made your selection, click Save. 11

12 Step 6) Click Edit under Columns to choose which columns of data you want to see in the report. Step 7) Put a checkmark in the box next to the columns you want to use for the report. Hit the >> button to move them to the selected columns, or the << button to remove them from the selected columns. 12

13 Step 8) Click the drop down menu under Date Range to select the range of dates you want displayed for the report. 13

14 Step 9) Under Compare With select the Date Range. You can select either the Previous Period or the Same Period Last Year for any comparisons in the data. Step 10) Click Run Report and the report will generate, based on your selections. 14

15 Step 11) Once the report has generated, you ll be able to the view and organize the display by the displayed columns like any other Excel sheet. 15

16 Generating A New Analysis Report Step 1) Click on Analysis Reports to generate the new report. 16

17 Step 2) Click on the Report Type and you ll be able to choose the report type from the drop down menu. Click Edit under the Campaigns and AdGroups to select which campaigns and ad groups you would like to generate into your report. 17

18 Step 3) Under Date Range click from the drop down menu to select which date you would like to select. Then click Run Report. Step 4) You will be presented with the data from the report you just generated. 18

19 Starting a new Weekly / Monthly Report Step 1) Now for the Weekly/Monthly Reports. Simply click on Weekly/Monthly Reports at the top of the Excel workbook. 19

20 Step 2) Click on Standard Report under Report Type. Select your desired Date Range. Under Weeks/Months, select the number of weeks / months or any customized date, and whether or not you would like to run a category report. Then click Run Report. 20

21 Step 3) Click on Custom Report under Report Type. Select your desired Date Range. Under Weeks/Months, select the number of weeks / months or any customized date, and whether or not you would like to run a category report. Then click Run Report. 21

22 Step 4) You can also add metrics such as clicks, impressions, cost, orders, revenue, and average performance. You can select the metrics for the chart against one another. 22

23 Step 5) Before running the report, you can add any metrics that you would like to be included in your report. For example, as shown above, you can choose R/C, which means Revenue Over Cost. Simply select the specified metric names for the said metric you wish to use. Step 6) To add the specified metric to your report, simply add the specific name for the said metric you would like to use. In this instance, for R/C (Revenue Over Cost), add R/C under the Custom Metric Name followed by Revenue over Cost. Then click Add. 23

24 Step 7) Once you add your desired Custom Metric Name, it will be added on the left hand side under Custom Metrics. You can choose to delete or edit your custom metric at any time. 24

25 Step 8) Once you had added your desired Custom Metric Name, you have the option on the right hand side to select the metrics for this chart. For example, as shown above, Performance Chart 1 shows Orders vs. Revenue and Performance Chart 2 shows Clicks vs. Impressions. Click Save. Step 9) After you select your Standard Report or Custom Report under Report Type you have the option to select your desired Date Range, number of Weeks/Months, and then select Include Category Report. Then click Run Report. 25

26 Step 10) The next window will allow you to add a category to your campaign. 26

27 Step 11) In this instance, as shown above, the category is Non Brand Category. Click Submit and this new campaign category will show up. You have the option to edit or delete this category at any time. Step 12) Once the category has been added, click OK. 27

28 Step 13) You can additional categories to your campaign and you have the option to edit or delete them at any time. In this instance, we have also added Brand Campaign alongside the previously added Non-Brand Campaign. 28

29 Step 14) Once you have selected your category, select your campaign(s) from the left hand side. Your selection should show in the middle centre of the window. Click Save. 29

30 Step 16) Once you have selected your campaign(s) and category or categories, click Save to save them. 30

31 How to Use the Account Dashboard Step 1) For the Account Dashboard, under Date Range select your desired date range. In this instance, we have selected Today as the date range. Under Top Cost Taking Campaigns and Keywords you can select the range under the drop down menu. In this instance, we have selected Top 5. 31

32 Step 2) Before running the report, you can add any metric that you would like to be included in your report. For example, as shown above, you can choose R/C, which means Revenue Over Cost. Simply select the specified metric names for the said metric you wish to use and click Add. 32

33 Step 3) Before running the report, you can add any metric that you would like to be included in your report. We have already added R/C, which stands for Revenue Over Cost. In this instance, we have included Conversion Rate which equals Orders over Clicks. Simply select the specified metric names for the said metric you wish to use and click Add. 33

34 Step 4) Before running the report, you can add any metric that you would like to be included in your report. In this instance, we have selected AOV (Average Order Value.) We have already added R/C, which stands for Revenue Over Cost, and Conversion Rate (Order Over Clicks). Simply select the specified metric names for the said metric you wish to use and click Add. 34

35 Step 5) Once you have selected your custom metrics, click Save. Once you have saved your metrics successfully, this window will appear and show. Click OK. 35

36 Step 6) For the Account Dashboard, under Date Range you can select various ranges. In this instance, we have selected Last 14 Days. Step 7) In this instance, we have selected Last 14 Days for the Date Range. You can select the number of top ranking campaigns and keywords under the drop down menu of Top Cost Taking Campaigns and Keywords. In this instance, we have selected Top

37 Step 8) After selecting the Last 14 Days date range and Top 20 for the top campaigns and keywords. You can then choose to compare what you have selected to either Previous Period or Same Period Last Year under the Compare With drop down menu. Choose what metric you would like and click Run Report. 37

38 Step 9) Now that you ve run the report, you re able to see the number of clicks, impressions, cost, orders, revenue, average position, R/C (Revenue Over Cost), AOV (Average Order Value), and Conversion Rate. It shows you the current and previous amount and the difference. 38

39 How to Upload the Client Image Step 1) To get started, click Upload Client Logo at the top of the Excel sheet. 39

40 Step 2) Then click Choose Image to open a window that will allow you to select your company s logo image. Once you select it, click the Open button on the window. This will upload your image into the LXR Plugin and add your logo to any reports you generate. 40
