2 Registering your Agency (This step is for new partners only) Go to missionseek.com.au Click on the Register Button Registering your agency (This step is for new partners only) Fill in your address and password. As there is sensitive information stored on this site, we recommend that you follow the advice shared below on creating a good password. Please use proper, good quality passwords to protect your account. 3 Enter your agency name Enter your address Choose Agency Check the box I m not a robot Using the guidelines from the previous page, enter your password Confirm your password - it obviously needs to be exactly the same Finally click Register 3 P a g e
4 Login after you have registered (you only register your agency once). To Login on each subsequent visit to Mission Seek, click on this button Use the address that you used for the registration process and your password to login. 4 P a g e
5 Account Pending and Verifying Address While your account is pending review by the Mission Seek Administrator you can fill in your contact details and information but your profile will not be seen online until it has been approved. If you have waited more than a week for this to approval, please contact the Administrator mms@missionsinterlink.org.au to check on this process. While waiting you can verify your address by clicking on this button and following the prompts once you receive the verification . Updating Contact Information To update your contact information, click on the edit button 5 P a g e
6 Your username and Your Name are actually asking for your Agency s name Contact Name, Contact , Address and Phone Contact are shown on the website The Contact address is also the address used when a seeker clicks on the your interest button. Agency Description Once you have filled in your contact details, then you click on Details to write a description of your agency. We recommend that your agency description be short, describing the distinctives of your agency and no more than words. 6 P a g e
7 Once you ve written your agency description, you can also add information about any awareness of vision trips that your agency provides. Remember to click yes in the drop menu If you have a link on your website for this trip, add that here Updating Mission Preferences click on the Mission Preferences button Fill in your preferred World Regions, time commitments, language preferences and ministry preferences using the drop down menus. You can choose as many as are applicable to your agency. You need to click in the box to access the drop down menus. If you need to delete one of your choices, click on the cross to the left of the incorrect choice. When you have finished, be sure to save your choices using the save button. 7 P a g e
8 Once your account is approved, your dashboard will look like this with the side menu including opportunities and short term teams You can click here to update your profile information at any time Facebook link click on this to go to the Missions Interlink Facebook Page NB Once you have filled in your agency contact details and description, the administrator will mark your account as active and your information will appear on the website. Creating Opportunities Click on Opportunities 8 P a g e
9 Click on Create to add a new opportunity and fill in the information where asked or using the drop down menus where applicable. When writing your short description, ensure that this is brief and compelling, using key words that will attract seekers and give them the basics of the opportunity. You also have the chance to write a full description of the opportunity that will give seekers more detailed information about what is required. Finally click create job to submit your opportunity 9 P a g e
10 Adding an image to your Opportunity (Optional) If you would like to add an image to your opportunity it needs to be 800px wide and 400px high to fit, otherwise your image may display sideways. Click on browse to add an image from your files on your computer, add an image and click open to upload the photo You will see the name of the photo listed once it has uploaded, then click on save changes to save. You will see a tick on your screen and it will saw Job created or Job updated. 10 P a g e
11 You should then see a copy of your completed opportunity. You can edit or delete your opportunity from here. On your dashboard if you click on list under Opportunities it will show you a list of all of your opportunities. 11 P a g e
12 The dashboard will also show how many opportunities you have listed at a glance with a link to view them. Expiry of Opportunities each Opportunity is valid for 6 months only and once the date shown on the opportunity is 6 months or more, it is no longer visible on the Mission Seek website. 12 P a g e
13 Creating a Short Term Team Click on create to begin and fill in the information where asked or using the drop down menus where applicable. Short term team date this is a required field to fill in and if not filled in, your short term team will not show on the website. The format of the date is dd/mm/yyyy. The system will stop showing this Short term team when this date is realised. 13 P a g e
14 When writing the short description for your team, remember that this is a short description, giving basic yet compelling information about the purpose of the team which will attract seekers to want to ask for more information. More detailed information can be shown in the full description for those who are interested and wanting to know more. Adding an image (optional) is the same as for opportunities, click on Browse, then upload an image from your computer. Finally, don t forget to click on Create Team to save your short term team. You will know it is successfully saved if you see the tick and it says Short term team created. Your completed Short Term Team should look something like this. 14 P a g e
