1 New Online Giving Service Thanks for your interest in transitioning to our new online giving tool! Below is a step- by- step description of how to get started. We are happy to walk you through the process or answer any questions by ing info@valley- church.com or calling To Begin: Start at valley- church.com/give. GIVE brings you to the current online giving site and includes a link to the previous giving system: Secure Give. Note: To watch the video sharing the vision of our new system or to see a step- by- step video, go to Online Giving Information in the left menu bar. To create a new account, click on Account Login. A link to the old giving software is the last link on the left menu. Please visit the Old Giving Software link to close any automatically recurring gifts.

2 To Close Automatic Recurring Gifts: Login to your current giving account. Click on MANAGE RECURRING and delete your recurring gift.

3 Return to valley- church.com/give. Create a new, secure account to save your billing address and method of payment. Your giving history and electronic statements are available with online accounts. You are also able to give online without creating an account. It will not save your address or method of payment, but it will continue to keep a record available on your paper giving statements. Click ACCOUNT LOGIN. Click Register to be directed to the Sign Up page. Click SIGN UP and follow the directions to set up an account. Please enter your address and verify your e- mail address. This may not immediately link to your existing contact information we have at in our database. Many people have multiple e- mail addresses, and we may need to merge these before your family and giving history is correct. Please call anytime about this issue. When you complete the sign up process, click ONLINE GIVING to return to the main giving page.

4 To Create a Recurring Gift: Start with the first GIVE NOW button for Gifts and Offerings in the Ministries Fund. Enter the amount of the recurring gift and then click SCHEDULE THIS GIFT. Schedule the recurrence. The gift calculator and end date setting are optional tools to customize your giving experience. Continue to Checkout.

5 Now you can login to your account at the bottom of the page. Click NEXT STEP.

6 You are now logged into your account. On your first log in only, you need to enter billing address during check out to verify the account login. After your first gift, you will not need to repeat this step. At this point in the process, you can add and save bank accounts and credit cards as payment methods in your giving account. Then click NEXT STEP. Bank accounts and credit cards saved for giving are not shared with the event sign up. Giving and event registrations systems are kept entirely separate, which makes for clear, straightforward giving and payment experiences. Credit cards can be saved for event sign up, but these are not shared with the giving account as a security measure. We are excited to improve this function! Below is the screen shown when multiple payment methods are saved.

7 Review your gift and click SUBMIT. Congratulations! You ve submitted your first gift! You can now click PROFILE to review your account profile or logout. Remember there may be a delay before your giving history is matched with your account profile. Once it is merged, you can access your recurring gifts and online statements here.

8 To Give to Global Opportunities: Return to the Giving Page (valley- church.com/give) and click GIVE NOW under Global Opportunities. Learn more about upcoming trips or give to Global Opportunities in our Ministry Fund to help fulfill our commitment to forward the global mission of Christ. If you select a specific trip, there is a place to select a participant s name. This information, plus the ability to give without an account, greatly clarifies and improves our Global Opportunities trip giving.
