3 How to Access IHS Connect Two easy ways to get started Go directly to: From any page on click on the IHS Customer Login box in the right-hand corner and select IHS Connect.

4 Logging In Input your corporate address and password to access IHS Connect Need a password? Click Forgot Password, enter your corporate address, and click Request Password. You will receive confirmation that your password has been sent to your address and be provided with a link to log in. Not Registered? Click Request access, follow the registration steps, click Submit, and IHS Customer Care will issue you IHS Connect login credentials.

5 Select the Economics or Risk tab on the main navigation bar to get direct access to the Or select Data Browser under Tools HINT: Menu options and Databanks availability will change based on your IHS subscription

6 Select Filters under: Concept, Geography, Series Type and Frequency 6

11 Or click Save Query to save selected filters in MyConnect Once filters have been selected, click View Series for further customization Or choose Export to download data in Excel with default settings 11

13 Adjust the Excel settings from the grey icons on the upper-right side. For example, click on Date Range to select the Custom User Range button. Create either an Absolute or Rolling date range 13

14 Show additional information by selecting the Column Chooser icon 14

15 HINT: Source for Historical data are available in the Source filed 15

16 Check boxes to send specific series to the chart Click the Chart icon to display the graph next to or below the table Click to export graph in Excel or Power Point, or to customize the chart 16

17 Select all series by checking the first box Click Save to save either the Selected Series or the Query in MyConnect or select specific series by checking boxes next to the series HINT: If you export to Excel from here, the resulting spreadsheet will be static not refreshable in Excel 17

18 Selected Series can be saved either as series or graph, either to an existing folder or a new folder HINT: Saving your data results first enables refreshable spreadsheets in Excel 18

19 Saved Series/Graph are available in MyConnect 19

20 Look for the saved Folder and click on the saved Series/Chart name 20

21 The data now displayed are the same as before but they will now be refreshable in Excel! 21

22 The resulting Excel can be refreshed by clicking Enable Content, followed by Data 22

23 and then Refresh All 23

24 Enter your Connect log-in credentials You can now store this XLS file and re-open it and refresh it in the future without manually opening Connect! 24

26 User Options Access search, help, settings, and your user profile at the top of the page Enter a search term and click to access IHS Connect Search. Hover over to search Help or Visit our online help center for training and support. Hover over to show subscribed content or all content. Hover over to update your profile, change your password, or log out.
