1 How to Register for Nexus CFCNCA

2 1. Access CFCNCA s Nexus A. Select NEXUS under QUICK LINKS at CFCNCA.org homepage B. Or, visit the following URL: cfcnexus.org/_cfcnca/

3 2. Select REGISTER A. A blue REGISTER button is located in the middle of the screen, beneath the picture of the Capitol B. A blue REGISTER button is also located in the upper right corner of the screen, beneath the CFCNEXUS logo

4 3. View Register for CFC of the National Capital Area A. The Register for CFC of the National Capital Area screen will appear B. Begin the registration process by identifying your agency

5 4. Search for your agency A. Use the search field to locate your agency B. Enter the name of your agency to filter the list of agencies down to your agency C. Once you locate your agency, click on the word SHOW

6 5. Select your reporting unit A. Clicking SHOW reveals a list of reporting units B. Scroll through the reporting units to find your reporting unit C. Select your reporting unit by clicking the radio button to the left of the reporting unit name

7 6. View Complete Your Registration section After selecting your reporting unit, you are directed to complete your registration

8 7. Enter rank/honorific, then first and last name A. Selecting Military for Title/Rank Type will prompt selection of a military branch and then a title/rank B. Selecting Civilian for Title/Rank Type will prompt selection of an honorific or other civilian title

9 8. Entering address A. Click on the SELECT field to begin entering your domain; clicking SELECT will reveal options in a drop-down menu B. In the drop-down menu, you should choose.mil or.gov UNLESS your full domain is already an option in the menu C. If you chose.mil or.gov, a domain field will appear in which you will enter the remainder of your domain

10 9. Confirm , enter username & password, and complete A. Enter your address in Confirm Your Address, which much match the corresponding fields in Enter Your Address B. Enter a username of your choice. Your password must be a minimum of 6 characters and may contain any combination of upper/lower case letters and numbers. The password cannot contain any special characters such as!@#$%&. Both username and password are case sensitive C. Select the green click here to complete your registration button

11 10. Check your for registration confirmation A. An will automatically be sent to you after you complete registration in NEXUS. You must click, or copy and paste, the link presented in your to verify your address and finish registering your account in Nexus B. If you do not see the in your inbox within 15 minutes, check your spam filter or junk mail folder for the

12 11. Access full site, enter username and password A. Click the button labeled LOGIN NOW TO THE FULL SITE B. Enter the username and password that you created earlier in the registration process to login to your account, then select the green click here to log in button

13 12. Successful Login! pop-up A. The green pop-up with a smiley face background indicates a successful login B. Select the orange CLICK HERE TO PROCEED button to continue on to your account
