1 Tutorial: How to enroll in SimpleK12 On-demand Webinars STEP 1: Login on STEP 2: To enroll an on-demand webinar section: On the Welcome Page in the Course Catalog enter webinar as a key word in the Search Text box and click Search. If you want a complete list of courses in the course catalog leave the Search Text box blank and click on Search. On-Demand Webinars: Tutorial Page1

2 STEP 3: In the populated list of Records below the Search Box Click on the webinar title of your choice. Note 1: Information about the webinar description including access to Tutorials on how to access the webinar, click on the blue button to the left of the webinar name. On-Demand webinars are listed as Online Delivery Methods. Live webinars are listed as Classroom Delivery Method type courses. STEP 4: In the next window click on Access Item in the middle of the page. This step will enroll you in the ondemand webinar in your Michigan LearnPort transcript and take you to the Simplek12 website. To cancel or return to the previous screen click the Return button on the top left corner of the page. NOTE: If this is your first time accessing a SimpleK12 webinar with your LearnPort account please skip to STEP 5A OR 5B regarding First Time Webinar user access. If you are a returning user who previously watched a SimpleK12 webinar, Login on the next screen using the address you use with your Michigan LearnPort account and your password. 4 First Time On-Demand Webinar User Access The first time you access Simple K12 webinars you will need to confirm your account or create a new account with Simplek12 depending on the date you became a Michigan LearnPort user. 1. For Michigan LearnPort users with accounts prior to June 20, 2012 please follow the instruction to confirm your account in STEP 5A; or 2. For Michigan LearnPort user who created an account after June, 2012? please follow the instruction to create a SimpleK12 account in STEP 5B. STEP 5A - To confirm your account at the SimpleK12 website. If you had a Michigan LearnPort account prior to June 20, 2012 the address you use with your Michigan LearnPort account will already be linked to your SimpleK12 account. Please enter the address you use with your Michigan LearnPort account and use password: mivupassword, then click on the Sign In button. On the next screen create a Display Name, confirm that your address is correct then click Submit. On the next screen you will update your password and user profile. 5 A) Click change password enter mivipassword as Current password. Enter the same password that you use with your Michigan Learnport accout as your New Password and Confirm Password. Click Update, on the pop-up screen click Ok. B) Scroll to the bottom and complete your complete your Profile Information. Items with an * are required profile imformation. Then, click the Update button at the bottom of the screen. C) Click SIGN OUT at the top of the page. Return to STEP 4. On-Demand Webinars: Tutorial Page5

6 STEP 5B - To create a new account at the SimpleK12 website. If you created a new Michigan LearnPort account after June 20, 2012 please click on the New here? Sign up link to create a new Simple K12 account. A) On the next screen enter your Personal Information. For Account Information please use the same address and password you use with your Michigan Learnport account. Click Register. B) After you complete the registration process, click SIGN OUT at the top right corner. Return to STEP 4. On-Demand Webinars: Tutorial Page6
