1 The following instructions need to be used to log into Hockey NL s elearning site for the first time. Once you have successfully registered for your elearning clinic you can complete the course materials at your own pace. Visit Hockey NL website ( and follow the main page link to the page for officials. Once there click on the link for clinics ( 1 P a g e

2 The next step will be to search for the Officiating Clinic in your area. Start by indicating a Community/Town name and a clinic type then click Search This will give you a list of available clinics that match your search criteria. Select the one that you are registering for and click Signup. Pay close attention to the type of clinic Junior/Senior. Senior clinics are only for Level 3 and above officials. Junior clinics are for Level 1 and 2 officials. Once you have selected the appropriate clinic and have reached the Hockey Canada elearning main page, you will need to scroll to the bottom and select the applicable hockey division as NA then click next. 2 P a g e

Start creating your account by entering and confirming your e-mail address, creating a password

3 You will need to CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT by following the bottom link. In order to create your account you will need to AGREE to the terms presented and click CONTINUE Start creating your account by entering and confirming your address, creating a password and a security question. This step will create your login information that will be used to access your elearning account. 3 P a g e

4 Once you have verified that all information is correct click submit. The next step will require you to add a participant to your account. You will need to search the Hockey Canada Registry to add yourself to your elearning account. Search your information by first and last name. YOU MAY TRY LONGER NAMES (Donald instead of Don, Michael instead of Mike, etc.) 4 P a g e

Try again using your first name, middle initial, and last name.

5 In some instances you will not find yourself using your first/last name, and you may need to try again. If you get a message saying Participant not found. Try again using your first name, middle initial, and last name. This may work for some people, however there may be times when this process will not work. You may also want to try searching again using your first name, full middle name, and last name. 5 P a g e

6 This process will likely work for the majority of participants, however there are still cases where individuals have not been able to register even after using all the possible different name combinations. If you continue to get a participant not found message you will need to create a new participant profile Follow the steps to creating a new profile. 8 Fill in your emergency contact information If you followed these steps you should have been successful in creating your participant profile for the Hockey Canada elearning program. The next step will be to signup this participant to a clinic 8 P a g e

Select NA and click next Add to Cart Once you click add to cart you will be brought to your home page which will show your profile information as well as your shopping cart.
