2 Thank you for choosing to participate in the Tour de PIF 2018 and help the Property Industry Foundation raise funds to help the homeless and disadvantaged youth. This document will guide you through the entire process giving you a step by step instructions. 3 Registering As An Individual 1. Click on the Register button on the top left corner on the page. This should open the Registration process. The first page you see is the Ticket page which would look something like below: Tour de PIF Registration Guide 3/19

4 This page contains information about the event and the registration fees. Scroll down to the bottom where you find the details on the ticket type : Individual Standard Entry. 2. Click on Register. 3. Click on Register button in the bottom section. The following page will open up: Tour de PIF Registration Guide 4/19

5 If you are new to the Everyday Hero platform, please sign up using any one of the options listed. If you ve used the platform earlier, click on the Log in hyperlink on the text placed in the right hand side and enter your and password to start the registration. 4. After entering your details and logging in, you will be able to see the below Registration screen: Tour de PIF Registration Guide 5/19

6 Enter your personal details. 5) On the Create or Join a Team section, you ll find 2 buttons: Create: If you are creating a new team, click on this button. The below screen will appear. Tour de PIF Registration Guide 6/19

7 I.Enter the name of your new team. II.You can also invite people to register and join your team by entering their ids. They will receive an with all the details. Please note they will have to register and pay separately. III. If you don t wish to invite anyone, please leave this blank. Find: If you wish to join an existing team, please click on this button. You will see that the following screen opens up: I. Enter the name of the team in the search bar and all the related names will appear below the search bar. Tour de PIF Registration Guide 7/19

8 II.Click on Join to join the team. III.The next screen will ask if you wish to invite people to join your team by entering their ids. They will receive an with the details. Please note they will have to register and pay separately. If you don t wish to invite anyone, please leave this blank. Tour de PIF Registration Guide 8/19

9 6) Click Continue to proceed. This will land you back on the Registration page. The name of the team you have joined will appear on the Registration screen as below: 7) The last section on this page is the Donations section. You can choose any amount from the dollar handles provided. You can also enter any other amount of your choice by clicking on the Other Amount radio button. Clicking on the Other Amount radio button brings up the field where you can enter the amount you wish to donate. 8) Choose the donation amount and click Continue. Tour de PIF Registration Guide 9/19

10 Clicking on Continue will open the Review screen as below: If you wish to register more than one person, click on Register Another Person and follow the same process again. When you have registered all the people, click on purchase and make payment for all of them together. If you just wish to register yourself, click Purchase. 9) Clicking on Purchase will open the screen where you enter your card details. Tour de PIF Registration Guide 10/19

12 How to Create a New Team Once you start the registration process and land on the screen where you enter your personal details, you will find a section called Create or Join a Team. 14 How to Join an Existing Team Once you start the registration process and land on the screen where you enter your personal details, you will find a section called Create or Join a Team. On the Create or Join a Team section, you ll find 2 buttons: Create Find Click on the Find button and the below screen will open up: 1) Enter the name of the team in the search bar and all the related names will appear below the search bar. 15 2) Click on Join to join the team. The next screen will ask if you wish to invite people to join your team by entering their ids. All those invited will receive an with the details. Please note they will have to register and pay separately. If you don t wish to invite anyone, please leave this blank. 3) Click Continue to proceed. This will land you back on the Registration page. 16 Registering More Than 1 person or Registering as a Team The process for registering more than 1 person or a team is the same as registering 1 person. Follow the registration process for one person. 1) After you fill in all your details on the Registration page, you will be directed to a Review screen. If you wish to register more than one person, click on Register Another Person and follow the same process again. When you have registered all the people, click on purchase and make payment for all of them together. If you just wish to register yourself, click Purchase Tour de PIF Registration Guide 16/19

17 Inviting Other People To Join Your Team When You Are Registering If you wish to invite friends to join your team while registering, there s a simple way to do that. Once you start the registration process and land on the screen where you enter your personal details, you will find a section called Create or Join a Team. Option 1: Create: If you are creating a new team, click the button and enter the name of your new team. You can also invite people to register and join your team by entering their ids. They will receive an with all the details. Please note they will have to register and pay separately. Option 2: Find: If you wish to join an existing team, please click on this button. 18 4) Enter the name of the team in the search bar and all the related names will appear below the search bar. 5) Click on Join to join the team. The next screen will ask if you wish to invite people to join your team by entering their ids. They will receive an with the details. 19 FAQ: How do I register a team if I don t have details of all the team members It s very easy to register people as a team even when you have details of only a few members. The best way to do this is a 2 part process. Step 1 is to create a team and register all the participants and pay for them as a single process. Click here to find the process. Step 2 is to register other team members as part of the same team when you get their details. Just use the Join A Team option while registering. Click here to find the process. FAQ: Can I register a person or a team if I am not participant? Absolutely- you can register on someone else s behalf. This involves using your own Everyday Hero login and then registering everyone using the same. If you are new to the Everyday Hero platform, please sign up using any one of the options listed. If you ve used the platform earlier, click on the Log in hyperlink on the text placed in the right hand side and enter your and password to start the registration. Note: If you wish to be the sole person to receive communication (invoice, registration confirmation, etc., please enter your address in the My Contact Details section.
