3 1 Overview Analytics solution is an add-on feature to dynamics 365 CRM(Online) to translate text messages into English and analyze its sentiments using Azure cognitive services. This feature enables organizations in understanding customer s likes, dislikes, wants and needs. Performing sentiment analysis on messages helps business users to make sure it gives the reader intended impression. Analytics offers Text messages language translation 1. Translate non English text messages into English by using Azure Cognitive Text translation API. Sentimental analysis score for text messages. 1. Azure Cognitive Text analytics API returns a numeric score between 0 and 1. Scores close to 1 indicate positive sentiment, while scores close to 0 indicate negative sentiment. Sentiment score is generated using classification techniques. The input features to the classifier include n-grams, features generated from part-of-speech tags, and word embeddings. This solution is built on Dynamics 365 and seamlessly works on Dynamics CRM 2016 and above. 2 How does Analytics Solution work? Analytics solution can be used for the business entity. Once downloaded from the Appsource to your Dynamics 365 application, there are couple of steps that needs to be followed to make solution working, first administrator would need to configure input parameters of workflow process by providing valid azure text translator API key and Text analytics API key. Secondly configure main form to add fields related to analytics solution to display translated text and sentiment score. Enlisted below are the different roles in Dynamics 365 who are involved in this process. 1. System Administrator Perform the configuration activities. 2. Dynamics 365 end User Leverages the advantage of the translating text messages and sentimental analysis score for the text. 3 End User Experience Once the solution is installed and configured in CRM organization, End user can translate texts into English language and get text sentiment analysis score. To demonstrate end user, here we have considered service management framework as an example in which users has received feedback in Spanish from customer. The screenshot shows the user experience while translating and analyzing the text message. Text Analytics Using Azure cognitive servicespage 2 of 6
4 4 Analytics Administrator Guide This section outlines the steps to be performed by a System Administrator to make Solution available to the end users. Pre-requisites: 1. Valid Azure Text Translator API subscription details. 2. Valid Azure Text analytics API subscription details UI Configuration 1. Open Microsoft Dynamics Navigate to Settings -> Processes -> MicrosoftLabs. TextAnalytics.Workflow. Text Analytics Using Azure cognitive servicespage 3 of 6
5 3. Get the access keys for the Azure cognitive services. Use any key out of 2 given keys for the respective subscribed cognitive service API. 4. Set the input properties for custom workflow. Enter following details i. TranslatorAccessKey: Key for the Azure cognitive Text Translator API ii. AzureAccessKey: Key for the Azure Text cognitive Text Sentiment Analysis API. Main Form Configuration Admin user needs to add following fields to the entity main form to see the results after language translation and sentiment analysis score Optional Configuration This section provides information on optional HTML web Resource can be used to display the appropriate smiley based on the text sentimental analysis score. to use this Admin needs to add this web resource to the form Below is the required web resource to show sentiment analysis score smiley. msdyn_sentimentemotions.html Steps to configure web resources for multiple file upload functionality i. Edit Entity form to create new tab and insert web resource msdyn_ SentimentEmotions.html. ii. Publish all changes made and navigate to entity and open the main form. User should be able to see the tab created for the sentiment. Text Analytics Using Azure cognitive servicespage 5 of 6
7 5 Troubleshooting Steps System Administrators can use the below quick tips for troubleshooting in case of any issues or concerns reported by end users. 1. Ensure Azure Cognitive service key details entered are correct. 2. Ensure the workflow steps has been registered for the particular event i.e. on create, update. 3.
